Eagles vs Bears - Black Friday Thread

I notice DaVonta Smith doesn’t yap like Brown . In the off-season i sure explore trade options what can you get in return . To come off a SB win and start a locker room fire the next season .

If you have an animal like a dog or a cat for goodness sakes get it fixed there are so many in the street . That’s where I found my avatar . 11 yrs ago. Also took in a cat off the street after that .

Yeah well we got Schotty

I keep expecting Schotty to break out into one of these

I know the analytics say go for 2 but I don’t agree with it. I would rather keep myself in the game as long as possible.

Taking 1 makes it a one possession game. Getting the 2 does the same

Missing the 2 means it’s still a 2 possession game,

I’d rather make it a one possession game even if it means a TD and 2 to win.
keeping yourself "in the game as long as possible" doesn't provide any benefit though. It doesn't increase your chances of winning. It reduces them.

All it does is delay things and make what's extremely difficult almost impossible.

I guess you get a few more minutes of hope, but what's the point if the bubble is going to pop anyway?

The Cowboys success will be to capture the NFCE . The WC is a cliff you drive off of . The Eagles are spiraling . Dallas has to win in Detroit simple but true

This fan base has been beat down for 30 years. Its reasonable that they are pessimistic about everything... to the point that you could sign 11 all pros in their prime and some fans would still find ways to complain about it.
Beat down for 30 years> Nah, be a fan of the Jets, Chargers, Dolphins, Bears, Cards, Browns, Commanders/Commanders,Raiders for the past 30 year, then come back and talk about the Cowboys fan's being beat down. Dont come back and talk to me about the Bears or Cards 1 SB appearance..... I dont care about it. We probably had more 12 win seasons under McCarthy then all of those teams combines in the past 30 years.

Bears, Cards, and Raiders have been to super bowls during our 30 year drought. The Commanders have been to an NFC title game. Try again.

Try again?... did you miss the part where I said I didnt give a damn about the 1 year lucky run.... it certainly isnt enough to to make the fan base think they have had it better than we have in the past 30 years.

Try again

It avoids the need to rely on an onsides kick which is an extremely low % play with the current rules. That’s the benefit of taking the 1.

I’d rather put it on my D to get a stop and my O to score and get a 2 to tie vs missing the 2 early and having to get an onsides.

They can't afford to do anything with Brown or Hurts next off season. There is way too much guaranteed money on the books.

Thats the down side of utilizing void years. You have to bet on the right guys.

You don’t know the result of the conversion attempt. Going for it later doesn’t make it more likely to succeed, best to just assume the same result will happen either earlier or later. So you’d rather be down 9 with 5 minutes than down 1 with 30 seconds and kicking off.

So if you trade Brown say for a # a 1 & 3 you take the cap hit ?

i think so the wildcard is going to be tough to get right now. i still think the most this team wins is eight to nine games so we need the eagles to struggle so we catch them.
With the rest of our schedule you think we only win 2 more games? interesting
