versus those that took everything anyone CLAIMED was good for themI’m sure he hasn’t had a vaccine in his life that wasn’t forced on him. He lives in Idaho.

OKI get it that agents might talk with front offices but actually having a face face interview is really risky
It’s part of the tampering rules that Flores got fired over when he refused to talk to Brady while he was under contract.
The Dolphins lost a first, a third and paid a bunch of big fines and the owner was suspended.
Fangio runs a 3-4 under base defense in Philly.Fangio ran a 4-3 2 high man so I bet we get something similar
Joseph runs a hybrid 3-4 though and Parker was in that as well

are you just angry that you weren't a nepo baby and you just hate everything about them even though they didn't ask to be a nepo baby???? The hate is incredible.
Daronte Jones offered a LOT more experience...having been defensive coordinator at different points in his development/career. So if it was between Parker and Jones...Jones was hands down the guy to get. Parker has never been DC at any level, so what you have is a guy learning on the job for a team ready to win NOW.I’m torn! Seems like a good young hire whose on the rise but he’s also a young hire that we have zero info on regarding how they’d be as a DC. But better than many on list

I'm hoping for the best but there is something to be said for experience.

I don’t see this as a Jerry hire ! Which is good !Interview:
1) Will you relay the defensive calls from Jerry?
2) Will you agree with Jerry making your draft picks? But taking blame if they fail ?
3) Will you give Jerry any and all credit for any success
4) will out hang a picture of Jerry in your office and provide it daily offerings?
5) if you answered “no” to any of the above, the interview is over please gather your belongings and go somewhere else. If yes to all, proceed to the final question.
6) will you take a ton less money to work here?
Dang Risen is still around? LolCongrats to Christian and his family for getting to work with this talent. It is a dream come true.
He will find things a bit different without Surtain and the two Eagles first rounders.Congrats to Christian and his family for getting to work with this talent. It is a dream come true.
It's not stupid sir. It's smart. Neither of these guys are "retreads" so your argument is dubious. Between the two, Jones seems like the better guy. Single, film-room junkie, lives for football...actually was defensive coordinator at different points (except at NFL level). Parker has very little experience. And that matters at some point. The last thing the Cowboys need is a coordinator "learning on the job"...for a team that wants to win NOW.This idea that experience is the end all be all us stupid.
The Rooney Rule was a NFL PR joke and always has beenbingo, in 2003 when he wanted Parcells, I remember fans of other teams demanding he meet the Rooney rule, so he interviewed Dennis Green who said yeah it was a real interview (he knew it wasn't) and Jerry didn't care. He hires who he thinks is best, usually wrong but that is a separate issue
probably would have gone for Jones; but the more I dig up about Parker the more hopeful I feel; not really optimism but hopeIt's not stupid sir. It's smart. I'm willing to give the man a chance but Jones was probably the better hire. From his interview notes..."future defensive mastermind". There was a "comfortability" factor for Jerry Jones reportedly. And when you keep making important decisions with comfort and not competence in mind, you continue to hamstring your team.
Dude. You can research his career. It's not hard. Less than a minute. Compare the two side-by-side in then honestly tell me that Jones doesn't have more experience...even being a DC at various points in his career. You didn't interview them.
Maybe no one is washed and the DC was bad?

You’re right.Fangio runs a 3-4 under base defense in Philly.
