I'm not I was simply stating what was put on the website![]()

So easily gaslit and triggered by stories and now we have nine open George Pickens threads, isn't that nice,
I think the media, the content creators, and a lot of fans, they live for this stuff, they act like they hate the drama, but they want the drama, they need the drama, they need Jerry on that wall...LOL
There are people above that say they only do contract negotiations a week before the season starts and yet so many are done long before, that Yes there has been a few that have gotten to that point but 75 percent of all contracts are done very early, on a normal schedule, it's just some of the ones that have agents and players up for really huge contracts that are playing hardball of course they're going to drag out both sides were at fault last year with the Parsons issues..
Not sticking up for Jerry but I'm betting and this is a wild guess he's been involved in at least 1000 contact negotiations since 1989, he's probably spoken to almost all the agents personally, maybe 99%, and yet they can find what 6-7 since 1989 that they say is normal, that this stuff happens ,when it's not normal, it is actually the anomaly.
In fact,
the Parsons deal, is the only drafted superstar that the Cowboys didn't retain, and that went to the levels that it did, the only one,
a lot of players hold out in all major professional sports and especially the NFL, we see the threats all the time, the posturing, There are some that that's what it takes to get a deal done, it's not all on Jerry...
And here you said it twice. almost back to back... Are you sure you're not sticking up for Jerry?Right,
i'm not even sticking up for Jerry..
it's just a fact there are so many fake Dallas Cowboy websites on Facebook, Twitter, and everywhere else on the Internet, and now the AI got involved, It's even worse,
I mean there's hardly any actual real ones.
How some of the real news from content creators on Twitter or Facebook that have been at least real have turned over a lot of their content to make sure it stays fresh every day to AI, and the stuff that gets posted is insane.
Anything to drive clicks but I'm betting the cowboys are one of the biggest names in content creation for clickbait even for non sports channels they're always looking for that hot sports opinion that spread around even if it's rumor and fake.
I mean, it's crazy, I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees it, there's so many fake trolling channels all over the Internet, some of them are honest about it ,No it's a troll post ,when people are reading some of them don't realize they're reading fake news, rumor mills.
Your boy is Jerry. But that's beside the point. My point is everyone tries to use Parsons' Green Bay figure to say it was better to ship him when we could have signed him for less and he'd have been even more attractive to ship later and net more than we got. So to bring up $47M ignores we could have had him for $34M if we had a real GM.Who is my boy?
It’s not that simple. This is gonna be a complicated dealStart at the combine??? Oh FFS. They should already have him signed
Not a fan of Jerry. How many times do I need t tell you that?Your boy is Jerry. But that's beside the point. Everything posted publicly on the Internet is fair game for me to respond to if I choose.has nothing to do with you, not sure why you always have to stick your nose in things that don't pertain to you!!!

Not a fan of Jerry, and I’ve said that plenty of times. Whether he actually said what’s claimed depends on what you believe—I don’t know, so I won’t dispute it. Someone can probably provide a link to back it up, but I honestly don’t care; it’s in the past, and I’m focused on what’s needed to improve the team. That said, the idea that Parsons and his agent would have taken less is nonsense. Where’s the proof they didn’t bring a lower number? And why would timing matter if it was just an informal discussion in February last year? Parsons publicly said he didn’t need over $40 million or to be the highest-paid non-quarterback, but then the price went up, and things turned into a circus on both sides. He was never signing for $34 million—he never once said he’d take less if asked earlier. People act like they know every behind-the-scenes detail, but they don’t. What we do know is Parsons said things publicly and then walked them back, Jerry took offense, and while negotiations could have found middle ground, egos got in the way. When Jerry finally tried to talk to the agent, the agent basically shut it down, saying the offer wasn’t close. However it was said, we’ll never know exactly, but there was clearly a big ego clash between them. Not a fan of Jerry. How many times do I need t tell you that?
It depends on how much you want to believe if Jerry actually aid that. I have no idea, so will not dispute it.
I am sure you or someone can provide a link to. back it up.
But I do not really care. It is in the past. I look only forward to what is needed
Right because the Twitter JPA news source is official as if this was started by the front office and it wasn't can we stop this nonsense when you hear Jerry or somebody that actually isn't official make a clear concise and official statement on the George Pickens contract, you let me know anything else in that is trolling it's just a bunch of rumors.. So the media and content creators and fans are starting this nonsense not Dallas so you can thank yourselves for creating all this drama.."Here we go!" (Dak 2023 voice)
I'll be in Indy next week. I'm sure I will hear tons of things from colleagues and NFL people that you and others will claim are unsubstantiated.Right because the Twitter JPA news source is official as if this was started by the front office and it wasn't can we stop this nonsense when you hear Jerry or somebody that actually isn't official make a clear concise and official statement on the George Pickens contract, you let me know anything else in that is trolling it's just a bunch of rumors.. Jerry has already started to negotiate
Oh, he wants him, he just wants him cheap and he wants him to kneel down.Yep. Time to badmouth the player. This never ends well. If he's so bad then why does Jerry want him?
They will tell you this is not from an official source or fake news or unsubstantiated since it doesn't come directly from The Star. For all of you who defend Jerry, year after year, and refuse to see that he is a dirty dealing snake, here is your first evidence of the season.
one of the things that happens repeatedly is that when Jerry dos something awful his defenders deny it.Not a fan of Jerry. How many times do I need t tell you that?
It depends on how much you want to believe if Jerry actually aid that. I have no idea, so will not dispute it.

Jerry and Stephen have been proven to use the media to leak dirt, going back decades. They will tell you this is not from an official source or fake news or unsubstantiated since it doesn't come directly from The Star.
As if people haven't seen it over and over from the organization.
I can preface a disclaimer when giving an opinion—it’s my own and not about defending Jerry, just addressing the situation. Every topic that sparks opinions is different, and in this case, I’m not defending Jerry. I didn’t defend him during the Parsons debacle either; I saw three parties involved, all acting immature, childish, and ego-driven, which led to a messy split. Yes, Jerry played a part, but right now we’re talking about rumor mills. This latest nonsense from some place called JPA is being treated like gospel, which it’s not—it’s just someone stirring up clickbait during a slow sports period. They’re posting it as if it’s fact and reflects the front office’s stance, but in this case, Jerry has nothing to do with it. He’s not posturing publicly, negotiations haven’t started, and the only statement made—by the Pickens side—was that they’d like to begin talks at the combine. There’s been no response from the star, so why would Jerry be involved? I’m not defending him in general, just in this situation. And hopefully it doesn’t bother anyone that not all of us carry pitchforks and torches—we form our own opinions and don’t need to be told how to feel or react. And here you said it twice. almost back to back... Are you sure you're not sticking up for Jerry?
Ah the picture that got him shuffled out of town
That is a bad take on it, everyone except I guess u knows why we lost games , the defense was so bad.If they can get 2-3 picks for Pickens. I do it in a heartbeat. As we saw this season, having that high powered offense didnt help us win games.
