From everything I've read the majority of what holds Guyton back is his heart/want to.

News on that front has been very positive this offseason.

Id wager he does enough to keep Smith at guard.

The team said that Thomas would be competing for the spot. Until that changes, I believe he is the next option over a fourth-round rookie.

It's year 3 of this 1st round draft choice's left tackle career and we're stuck with "I'm trying to get to a certain point where I feel good about going into the season."

This has been allowed to go on because of Jerry.

Jerry also passed on at least two players in the 2026 draft who would now be taking reps with the 1s at LT.

I’ve had my share of favorite players over the years.

Sometimes the team has to do what’s best for the team.
