Given the fact teams want to keep OTs, Jones was probably the best a team in need like the Cowboys could have possibly done.

Mingo is a solid special teams player and 4th receiver. You have no clue about the gunner position.

Since when is the gunner position a thing we care about here? We've literally never talked about it on this board dating back as long as I've been here (and all other Cowboys forums before that). Even if Steele and Guyton are average at best…there was massive drop off if you have to turn to Thomas or Shelton. That drop off is now gone with Jones. He’s at the very least a serviceable starter.
