Your team would probably be favorited to win at all. Suck it Saskatechewan Roughriders. If Im starting an expansion team today, Joe Milton is my QB and Jaydon Blue is my RB.

This is a little rich as a Dak flex. If Dak hadn't looked competent in those preseason games, he is never given a chance. They would have traded for someone when Tony went down & cut him cause he was third string based on camp and only that because we spent a pick on him not because he earned it.Dak or not, most of the league aren't impressed by a few preseason games.
It is not surprising; he is a good athletic but not a good quarterback and is too inconsistent so no team would want to give a pick for himNobody would give you a pick for Milton? I find that hard to believe.
Doesn't make any sense unless he asked to be released.Per ESPN
"According to a source, the Cowboys did have some trade conversations regarding Milton prior to the cut down to the 53-man roster on Sunday. If Milton clears waivers, he could be brought back to the practice squad, but it's not clear if the Cowboys will bring him back."
"If the Cowboys released Howell, they would still be on the hook for his $2 million base salary, and if he would have been brought back to the practice squad, that money would have counted in addition to his guaranteed money.
One edge for Howell was experience. He has 18 career starts (all with Washington in 2022 and '23). Milton has played in five games in two years with no starts."

I can understand that but then Quinn Ewers just got traded for. And other bad players. It is not surprising; he is a good athletic but not a good quarterback and is too inconsistent so no team would want to give a pick for him
You could make a point.
I hope not. I don’t want to sign a 33 year old, well 34 year old after this year, to a 65 or 70 million dollar contract with his injury history. So you think Dak isn't getting another extension
I don't blame him. He needs an opportunity to start games next year so he can try to get paid. There is a rumor, according to Broaddus, that Milton asked the Cowboys for a release.
We'll see if that's true.
Yes. But I'll bet money he's claimed. It's an idiotic move. Period. Will you still think that if no teams claim him?
YesDoes Jerry get the blame or credit for this release?
Same can be said for Tony if Quincy didn't smoke himself out of football. Romo was about to be released because of Drew Henson. This is a little rich as a Dak flex. No, we kept clearly the better backup option for this year, and it's all about this year.Yes. But I'll bet money he's claimed. It's an idiotic move. Period.
They aren't cutting him without Jerry's ok.Does Jerry get the blame or credit for this release?
The rumor is that he did ask to be released and if that is true then there is nothing that the Cowboys can doDoesn't make any sense unless he asked to be released.
He was probably told by Shotty that Howell would be QB2 to start the season, and Milton wanted out.I don't blame him. He needs an opportunity to start games next year so he can try to get paid.
Not sure it will work out that way for him, but it makes sense to try.
