Quinnen Williams trade might have been a mistake

I thought he was good last week... also I have zero confidence we would draft a good player in the second round.

The first from this year will sting a bit, especially if Green Bay continues to be terrible---but literally no one in the world thought that going into this year and with Micah they were a superbowl favorite. So the trade makes sense.

He really needs to pick it up though

With the number of misses this team has had in drafting DTs...not sure I would be wishing for them not to trade for Q.

Osa is the last DT we drafted that has shown out to be a good player but they decided he was not a fit for this specific D.

Our focus reportedly was run the ball and stop the run. The trade for Parsons included Clark as a sweeter. He's been better than what we had. Media have to he something to say.

They could've drafted Josiah Trotter with the 2nd round pick. The Packers this year might end up being a top 10 pick and the draft is stacked. 2 Foundational Pieces on rookie contracts is a better deal than Quinnen on a huge contract.
Not so sure about that. I suspect they get better soon. Plus they probably are 2-2 after today, so
2025 Packers with Micah: 9-3-1
2025 Packers without Micah: 0-4

At this point, Parker was a bigger mistake than Q.

Sure hope Parker can get this ironed out.
I don't know if it's the player or the coach but QW played well last week and played extremely well today.

And you know what else? The run defense was an overall actual and legitimate good today.

Now. About that PASS DEE...
All they freakin had was Collins and they couldn't do anything with him. He made Bland look so bad.

Edge room could so use an ALFA dawg.
Give Williams some help at the first line of defense on the edge please!

Rant over.

Go Cowboys!
Baby steps accomplished in defensive progress as far as this game's run dee.
Again, the pass dee is an entirely different story.
Glad it was Stroud at QB, lol.

Bland couldn't cover before the injury issues. He's really bad at coverage now. Shouldn't be starting.

I thought we overpaid. But, Jerry isn't Jerry for no reason. At least he finally identified a problem at DT and tried to fix it.

No doubt.
I remember the Cardinals Harrison making him look so terrible in coverage last year as well.

Collins could have had a Lamb type of day for them if they had wanted to.

Like you said he's a serious liability at this point almost to where
he's like the Steele of the secondary.

Jerry always gets snowed by high INT numbers. The year Diggs had 11 he gave up the most yards by a CB in the NFL. Bland also has always given up a lot of catches. He only has one good trait, jumping routes. Bland is subpar at everything else.
