Should we consider switching out Parker for Quinn if Commanders sack him?

If the Commanders sack Quinn....... should we consider switching out Parker for him? Don't get me wrong, I am trying to be patient with Parker, but if we can bring back Quinn in some capacity, that might help our defence? He knew how to make our defence good.

Legit, if Washington sacks Quinn, the Cowboys may have won without playing today. If nothing else, him and Parker would make a great tag team. Quinn's specialty is dline. Parker is supposed to be good with secondary. Those two working together. We might be able to make our D much better quickly.
Absolutely. Parker's a clown. He should team up with Eberflus.

No. Even this site has to have a limit.

Right, now imagine what he can do if he just has to focus on dline and pass rush, while Parker can handle the playcalling and secondary. All in all, Washington letting him go feeds him right into the hands of Jerry as a coach that Jerry likes, and we get to instantly have a chance to improve our D with someone that actually had it working for the most part here. Parker knows his job is on the line, so he wouldn't say no to Quinn coming in. Quinn would want to rebound, so he likely says yes. And Schotty gets Quinn back, which helps Schotty with the chemistry they can have back. It's an easy transition, and I think it works with the team. And giving Quinn Williams and Downs would be fun!
Quinn can easily get a DC job. Why would he work under a youngster?

Of all the people we could hire, why would we want Dan Quinn? He couldn’t be successful with this group.

a lot of fans only name known names, not talent or how coaches work with schemes, whic is basically dying at this point.

I don't think their schemes mesh, so the only way we could bring him back would be to give up on Parker, which I doubt we'd do right now.

And Quinn would come here with HC experience.

Hell NO! He’s a bum. We couldn’t win when he was here. He never stopped the run, ever.

If we ever bring in another DC, it must be someone with a proven track record who makes stopping the run the absolute #1 priority.
Yep. This is why so many Cowboys fans deserve their misery. They refuse to learn or understand the game. And they always want to run it back with past coaching failures. Quinn's defenses could not stop a noise bleed against the run.

Parker and Quinn together is such a farce. Almost as ridiculous as saying Elon and Sam Altman will work together as co CEO’s. When pigs fly…

I wouldn’t fire Parker. Let this team suck all year and than clean house and get rid of all coaches.

I don't know that it happened i've seen people call timeouts when you didn't have any Trying to get around the system but I've seen others forward even the NBA, When you're coaching in the moment and it's live and it's pressure sometimes you might have a little bit of Brainfart, It's known to happen to even better coaches and in bigger moments..

But doesn't matter that's a bad idea is that something that DQ get fired and available or are we talking about the end of this season route chris Parker this step needs time Get it done in house and then maybe some changes made after the season but right now no I see a big fat it's too soon too many injuries, joey Porter junior, hasnt got in sync,
If memory serves me right, Landry in a critical game once thought he had a time-out when he didn’t. It was toward the end of his tenure.

I'm saying I've seen it all across sports i've seen it in basketball wasn't there a moment in basketball I can't remember it was college or the pros but it was a big game A championship game and somebody turned around and called the time out and they didn't have it and it cost them the game..

Not just the timeouts and time management i'm saying all coaches make mistakes on the fly because it's live they're under pressure fans like to use hindsight or they're sitting there in their couch and thinking they would have made the better decision without realizing when they're actually in the mess It's difficult It's more difficult than people think..

Mistakes are being made all around the league including yesterday all all season but you look all the way back you can remember these plays look at the bad calls that Dan Quinn had in the Super Bowl to lose that second half yes they lost that game by Matt bad decisions and whatnot How about Pete Carroll calling a pass play when Beast Mode was on fire from the 1 yard line and then everyone will blame Russell Wilson for throwing the ball and all that no he made a bad decision he probably should have ran the ball In that ironic they should have ran the ball more when they're inside the three in a critical situation when you have a running back that's known for dragging people for a couple of yards?

But yeah it happens I think that's why I think they're being way too hard on Brian Schottnheimer what we need fixed is the defensive side and the special teams But we lose focus sometimes and we want to put all the blame on the quarterback and the head coach it's pretty typical I get it They're the faces of the team but I think it's a the criticism is OK but I think it's too much criticism It's going to the wrong spot they're losing games because of the defense and special teams.

I was thinking this same thing yesterday when giants almost took over the game before OT.

By the way. Christian Parker's Secondary is terrible. They're always chasing WR's from behind
