They really do need to find out who the snitch in the organization is. Whatever happens, or is said in practice and in the locker room should remain there and for someone to consistently leak this stuff to the press is very disappointing.

Exactly. I like what Hatcher is saying, but there is also a rational versus emotional side of this argument. Running the ball effectively is meaningful, running it just to run it is not. This team is 27th in attempts and is 24th in yards per attempt. It's not like they have been leaving a lot of run game production on the table.

Yards per rushing attempt doesn't take down and distance into account, so a 1-yard gain on 3rd and 1 is considered less successful than a 2-yard gain on 1st and 10. It's one of the most misleading stats in football, and has absolutely no correlation to winning.

We haven't been that bad in the red zone in our last 10 games when we have run, with 44.4% of our red zone rushes resulting in a 1st down or TD going into today's game. That was 2nd in the NFL, in fact. Having a poor running game has long been a problem of this team, but another problem, at least in the red zone during that time, has been not running enough. We were dead last in percentage of red zone plays that were runs, going into today's game.

I loved it, just run the play that's called unless it's an obvious "kill" situation. I believe Romo just fell in love with changing the play. Kuddos to Hatcher loved his effort today.

If it was in public then this question would have never been asked. He said what he said in a team only environment, so someone told the media which is not Hatcher's fault.

I'm sure he'd laugh at the characterization that he was calling out the QB in particular and that the talk was anything other than productive. My hat's off to him for taking the initiative.

Yup Hatcher handled it well. Some wuss on the team/staff leaked the initial incident to the media, and of course they do what they do - exaggerate it and make it about Romo hate, knowing the dumbed down masses who lap it up.

True. My only concern is telling the world that we are not going to audible out of runs ever. That isn't Hatch's fault but the media for reporting it. You can't freak out every time an audible fails and then be happy when they work because they often do.

I'm hoping a nice balanced win smooths this all out today but right now we have a OC and HC not on the same page, a QB who was given more control being told by everyone not to audible - after one loss. We lose today with a bad offensive showing and it could be meltdown time.

That said i think we win today with some real balance. I applaud Hatch for getting mad rather than just shrugging his shoulders.

I don't think none of us know the real story behind the story- nor do we know exactly what Hatcher said and how he said it... So as for me, I have no ill feeling toward Hatcher for calling anyone out- I can only hope that he was referring to everyone being accountable. And being accountable is a good thing in my book.
