So let me get this straight...
Had we marched down and gotten within field goal range, given our starting point and barring penalties Romo would have likely broken Norm Van Brocklin's 62-year old single game passing record. Consider that.
Consider, that means this is the line we needed from our starting quarterback to win the game (thanks to our "defense"):
70% completion percentage, 560 yards passing, 5 touchdowns, 0 interceptions.
So when our quarterback is unable to achieve that line and we lose, the quarterback is at fault. We are so bad that we need an all-time historic game from our quarterback just to have a chance to win, and when he doesn't do it we point the finger at him. Is that the gist of it?
