Funny how everybody was blaming Wade and Parcells for having Ware stop back in coverage and not just rushing the QB. Ware was a phenom on this team and allowed creativity on the defense.

Wade and Parcells' schemes had DWare rushing the QB 09% of the time. What made their schemes work so well with him was that they moved him around so you never knew where he was coming from.

It was Rob Ryan that insisted on dropping him into coverage more.

Wish him the best. Great player, even better guy.

I hope he goes to a contender, and stays far away from the NFC East. If the Boys dont win a Super Bowl i'd be cool with seeing Ware win one.

I could see 4/26m with 12m guaranteed

If he is willing to take those numbers, we know that Dallas just wanted him off the roster no matter what. At 12MM guaranteed it is only a couple of milllon over the cap hit we took my cutting him.

Miller, Ware, and Allen?

brb going to superbowl

I still think Ware is on the decline, but not having a lot of talent on Dline around him and especially the problems at 2ndary Dallas has had, going to Denver and not having to shoulder the load could mean Ware has a better season than we've seen in Dallas

Talib, Ward and Ware is a pretty nice haul for a team already the easy favorite in the AFC.

Hate to see Ware go but its about time for Dallas to get beyond their CAP issues and start over. Mortgaging the future year after year to be mediocre has gotten really old.

Is it wrong if I make the 45 minute drive to Mile High rocking my Ware Cowboys jersey now?

I don't care!

I don't know how they will afford Ware though with giving him more money than we could of...

TJ Ward, Talib..

I seriously think Ware just didn't want to play here anymore............he has already made a fortune, taking a pay cut of a couple of million was not really going to be the difference maker here. I think he wanted a chance to win a ring before he retires and considering he is 32 yrs old, that probably is not too many years off.

Lets be honest, Dallas is not winning the SuperBowl in the next couple of seasons. If Ware resigned here, he knew that he would never get a chance at a ring and I think that affected his decision.

Maybe I am wrong here, but I think having a chance to win a ring before he retires played a significant role in his decision to refuse a paycut...........................my .02

I agree...can you blame him? If hes going to take a pay cut, it may as well be with a contender...did anyone actually think he'd sign with the Jags?

D Ware isnt going to win a SB in Denver any time soon. They got dominated in the trenches in the SB. Sea and SF vastly superior teams.

That was this season. A lot can change in the NFL in one season, as we all know. I'm not saying Denver has a lock on the Super Bowl (no one does) only that they've got a shot. Ware can help that team. I don't think he's an every down guy anymore, but I'd bet he can be effective in rotation.

Since Ware can't remain a Cowboy, I would much, much rather see him go to Denver than to any other NFC East team or to San Fran.

Looks like Denver opened up $10M in space with Champ getting cut.

He could have taken a pay cut & still made many millions & he chose not to do that. Some will & some won't. He wouldn't.

So now he's gone. I really don't care where he goes or who he plays for. I like him & all that but now he's just a number on another team.

When they moved to the 4-3 the writing was on the wall on Ware's eventual release. He was undersized to play that position in today's NFL. It showed in his lack of productivity and his many injuries. I'm sure he'll have a couple or 3 more solid years if he ends up on a 3-4 team. Good luck to you Ware.

Yes we Hurt ole poor Ware's career....boohoo

I've seen numerous guys with less talent and less size than Ware have success as a 4-3 end. The Cowboys were good to Ware. You can say they never got him a ring and fair enough but I think you can argue that Ware never got them a ring either.

The lack of depth hurt Ware. He couldn't take any time off. He shouldn't have seen the field for half the season.
