In 2-3 years, we'll have the best offensive line in football... unfortunately, we'll still have the worst defense

We also have a very good chance of being in QB hell again which will really hurt if Johnny Football is tearing it up in Cleveland like I think he will.

People tend to point out the weaknesses of emphasizing O line early. QBs are awfully tough to find and teams like the Giants have had great success with building strong lines mostly without early picks.

But here's the deal: it's hard to screw up a great offensive lineman. You can put him in the wrong system, sure, but other than that his skills are going to generally work out for you, no matter what other crazy crap your GM and coaches are up to. We've now got three pieces that we can be relatively very confident are going to be good for us for quite a while.

Maybe
I'm kind of looking for some WRs to go. Hope so anyway. We need those pass rushers to drop.

I'm actually surprised that more DL haven't gone yet. So far, so good, but a trade-up may be in the works if this team is going to make serious strides on defense. We've got rotational guys. We need playmakers. There's a handful left.
