Romo Looked Very Sharp in Scrimmage

He will bring up the Commander game and the Giants game. Forgetting that he had no one to throw to and the oline got whooped and the D just couldn't stop anyone.

Let's just talk about the Commanders game for a moment. Are you seriously going to say Romo did not choke in that game? You are going to just sit there and make excuses? No reason to debate or waste my time anymore. I'm putting you on ignore. First you insult me by calling me a Commanders fan and then you can't even admit Romo choked in the Commanders game? Your love is blind my friend.

Without Romo in 2010, the Cowboys went 1-5 in games in which they did not get at least 3 takeaways.

That same level of coaching has gotten the Cowboys to 20-21 with Romo when they did not get at least 3 takeaways.

So does that mean the Cowboys were 4-0 with Kitna when they got at least 3 takeaways...and only 4-2 with Romo?

I made your ignore list! I'm honored! That just tells me I win. I'm very objective when it comes to Romo. It's not blind at all. Maybe you should read my posts on the Romo subject. I'm pretty sure I was the first to come out today and talk about what I saw and how not so "sharp" he looked. Why would I fault Romo for the Commander game? Are you talking about the pick the flat with while facing a free rusher? 2 great plays made on that play. He had Harris Kevin Ogletree and Beasley to throw to. A defense that was getting shredded. Tell me again how it was his fault?

Insulted you? You insult every single poster on this board who is a fan of this team. Your crap is tiring and it's really pathetic. If you are easily offended by being called a closet Commanders fan, I feel sorry for you. You can cut down our QB, but cry like a baby because you were called a closet Commander fan. Dude grow a pair.

Why in the world would I ever make your ignore list? Considering I basically agree with everything you say. Ha! Thank you sir! I think I had one guy on my list from like 4 years ago.

You just pointed out that Kitna had 4 chances in 9 games, and Romo had 6 chances in 47 games.

I also pointed out that Romo apparently found a way to lose games that even Kitna had no problem winning lol ;)...

But seriously, the original post that got me posting to begin with was trying to say--at least to me--that Garrett "trying harder" wasn't the reason the Cowboys won without Romo in 2010. In my opinion, your post about games with 3+ takeaways more or less backs up that viewpoint.

Romo is the "only reason" the team was able to be in elimination games...but the team is the only reason they lost those elimination games. Romo's level of play covers up team deficiencies...but his level of play didn't cover up anything in those elimination game losses.

All the wins leading up to the elimination games are due to Romo. All the elimination game losses are due to the team.

Romo's so good he covers up the deficiencies of the team when they win. When they lose in elimination games, apparently Romo's not good enough to cover up team deficiencies.

Seriously, it's trying to have it both ways.

Sorry, but can't believe an adult would have this much problem with reading comprehension. What you wrote isn't close to what I wrote.

Cause I went on a self righteous rampage this off season where I abused ignore.

There's a lot of things you pointed out.

But I do not think it means what you think it means.

No, I was just pointing out that the team doesn't just tank because Romo is out. I don't believe our only shot at success is if Romo is the QB like others here believe. He has played under his regular season stats in both elimination games and playoff games and that is a fact. He hasn't done anything special for this team in those games. Our team has been pretty irrelevant with or without him for many years.

Dallas is 18 games over .500 (63-45) with Romo, and 2 games under (9-11) without him.

Clearly, Dallas is not the same team without him.

but which of those were go home games??? don't take away my blankie...

I want to see how he finishes games once season starts. That where Romo said he is still having issues with how long back holds up after few hours of play. I expect him to look good because he might have one best offensive lines in football and you can make case they have one of the deeper WR cores and then add in HOF TE and you have alot of options at your disposal.

Wow, so you come to this thread to get news, but you get pummeled with stuff that happened in the past.
