49ers are looking beatable

The last 2 years we have won the first game (both Giants) and lost the 2nd game to the league upstart (Seattle 2012 and KC 2013)......hopefully we don't have a pattern here where we beat the Niners, lose to the Titans, and the Titans become the next hot team in the NFL.

the niners will come out with gore running the ball and running the ball and then there big rookie will come in and they will run some more this defense better be able to stop the run, and that don't include keapernick.

I'm not basing anything on anything........ but the season hasn't started...
I'm not claiming to be right or that you're wrong... we just don't think the same...
I want to watch the game... not predict our "losing fate"....

If you want me to agree with you as say we suck... " We suck" happy....

Opinions are valuable my friend... I respect yours, please respect mine.
find someone else to bicker with

I didn't use the word "suck" to describe the team but I haven't seen anything in preseason to make me think the Cowboys will be anything more than a 500 team at best. I'm not looking to bicker I'm just giving you my opinion.

I think Seattle will fall off a little bit this year. We'll see.

I hope so but that team just looks bigger, stronger, and faster than everyone else.

Kinda makes me wonder if there is some special vitamins being used.

That's fine. but as I stated. I'm waiting until the games begin....
I'm not debating with stats... my experiences is preseason isn't the regular season...
I know most of our strengths and weakness, and I'm not delusional. I feel the niners are a top 5 team.
That still don't change the way I feel. That's why we play the games.

enjoy the season... we will discuss more when the the regular season begin.

After watching them yesterday I think this game is pretty much a coin flip.

They are struggling bigtime to move the ball on offense and just look completely out of sync.

Our weakness is defense but I think Kaepernick is going to struggle early on in the year until that team finds a rhythm.

What i'm saying is that we will match up well with the 9ers in week 1.

I have to agree. They looked terrible yesterday. Hopefully that will spill over to week 1, because we looked pretty bad against the Fins...

Plus, I'm scared of teams with skilled passers.

As much of a playmaker as Kaepernick is he will not slice and dice our defense with his passing.

Penalties and dumb mistakes are a staple of a Jason Garrett coached football team. It's not anything we're not already used to dealing with.

Which is one of the many reasons why opening day vs SF won't be a coin flip. SF is a clear favorite in this game and should win by at least 14 points. Opponents have been able to move the ball on the ground vs the Cowboys starters and backups. The Cowboys have given up 168 yards a game on the ground this preseason. Miami ran all over the Cowboys for 200 yards and Murray only averaged 3.0 a carry with his usual negative carries. The starting OL that's had many excited all summer looked terrible Saturday night giving up 3 sacks.

I think Dallas plays well week one but I just can't pick them now to beat San Fran. I think it will be a close game though. You know the niners and their fan base expect a win in week one.

IMO it is going to come down to Dallas making a few big plays, not being careless on penalties and getting one or two 50/50 balls to have a chance.

Until I see this team stand up to a big bully physical team and play smart football, I can't pick them to beat San Fran.

What I've learned through the years from watching preseason games is sometimes good teams don't always look good during the preseason. Landry's teams never looked very good during the preseason but were always ready to go on opening day. Good teams usually don't put much importance into winning preseason games because they know what kind of team they have. They know when the gun sounds on opening day with their starters on the field they'll be ready to play. Bad/mediocre teams usually want to look good during preseason to build some confidence for the upcoming season. When you see a mediocre team like the Cowboys starting the preseason 0-3 continuing to look mediocre it's concerning. Saturdays game vs Miami was the dress rehearsal and the Cowboys forgot their wardrobe. I don't know how FANS can maintain their optimism every summer despite how mediocre the Cowboys continue to look.

You could tell Seattle was starting to turn the corner in 2012 when they went 4-0 in the preseason. They again went 4-0 in 2013 during the preseason. It was important to Pete Carroll that his team learn how to win and gain some confidence in those games. What I've seen in preseason with the Cowboys this summer is the same exact thing I've been seeing the past 3 summers and it's very discouraging. The Cowboys are looking like a team that's continuing to spin it's wheels and those wheels look like they're about to come off. Garrett is starting to stand on the sidelines with his head tilted in a disgusted manner. You can tell by the look on his face he knows he doesn't have a good team and his seat is about to get real hot.

Nope, not going to fool this old time fan...this will still explode on schedule for opening day.

I didn't watch the game but SF won 21-7. How can you look "terrible" and win by 14 points? SF out gained the Chargers and led in time of possession. SF even had more first downs than the Chargers and Blaine Gabbert saw a lot of action.

Anyone who doesn't think this team pulls a surprise win against the Niners followed by a humiliating loss to lowly Tennessee hasn't been watching the past fifteen years.

Sadly, this is the complete truth.

Game one for any team, maybe other than the Champs is a toss up. First game jitters are real. Getting out the kinks is for real too. We have a chance at home. I'll buy in.

Their o-line vs our front 7 and I don't see where we're confident.

Their front 7 vs our o-line, we still have to give them the nod since they're proven and we're basing our o-lines quality on potential.

I do like that we're playing at home though.

Anyone who's been watching the Cowboys the past 2 years knows what to expect in week 2 in Tenn if they pull off a surprising win vs SF opening day. No team follows trends like the Cowboys.

I think the Saints suck.

What the ..... Look for a repeat of last yr in both the saints and bears games. We just can't hold up to the passing game unless things change drastically and quickly
