RB Joseph Randle was arrested yesterday for shoplifting at Dillards

Figures, everything was going too smoothly for the Cowboys.

On another note, how in the hell do you shoplift when you're a professional athlete... And underwear and cologne of all things. Smh.

This is dumb and embarrassing. Randle has a lot of explaining to do.

4 game suspension?

I think you fine him or release him. There is really no other middle ground here. If the team suspends him, it means they have to bring up Williams. That really means that someone else is going to lose their spot.

I would bet he gets fined and they make him inactive for Sunday, I doubt he gets released for this arrest.

If we could all be so unfortunate.

The average NFL career is 3.5 years. Imagine being done with your chosen profession by the time you're 26, and you cleared after taxes about $600,000. With what's left, you'll have to manage on $6,000 per year going forward.

lol this is such a non-issue. lol at people saying his career may be finished. he didn't beat anyone so he is fine. give him a 5,000 dollar fine and considering he seems to be frugal person he will get the message.

Actually, if you play in Texas, it's much better then most places. Property Taxes are the big ticket in Texas. If you don't own any property, then you are probably not getting killed in that area. Federal is a different story but even with that, your still making a very good salary I would think.

Not when you consider that you don't get to this until you're 60. Most are done by 27. That's a lot of years left to make a relatively small amount of money do much, especially these uneducated players with no financial sense whatsoever.

The problem with making him inactive is that it costs someone a job. We'd have to cut someone to make space for Williams to come up. That's a real problem in my book. Randle's arrest shouldn't cost some bubble player a week's pay.

Lol this is more funny than anything. I bet they fine him and just don't play him a week or two

You know they can find other jobs....right? Most have college education, or can go back to college.

This guy could easily have gotten paid. If not buy us, then by somebody else. He doesn't have a lot of wear and tear, he's shown he can run the ball and he's in a situation where, if we decide not to sign Murray for big money, he's the air apparent to the starting RB gig on the most marketable team in sports. He's going to get paid. I mean, 23 or 83, the path to the math on this thing isn't hard, even if you did have a 5th grade education.

Cut him and call it a day... We're trying to do serious things this year, don't have time for people like this.
