Easier said than done. I'm assuming he wants to keep his job too. He gets fired or quits, he probably never gets another NFL HC gig, certainly not as high profile as the Cowboys.

Got news for you, you are dead wrong about that. I won't have a chance to prove it, but if I was a betting man I would bet that if Garrett was not here next year he has a head coaching job in the NFL. And I would win that bet.

Jerry's a real jackass sometimes. But if Garrett can live with it, I suppose I can too.

He's not going to be a head coach with any other team in this league or the NCAA so he knows to stick with the program.

Let's say...they had rode w/ Weeden. And he won.

Then your opening yourself up to a QB controversy. It's a no win situation really. I think @ least that thought crossed some peoples minds last night. Wouldn't want to open that can of worms.

No. I don't believe that Floaty. Nobody on this, or any board, believes that Romo is not better then Weeden. However, it's a long season and you have to be able to think about what's best long term, as well as in just the moment. Romo comes back in and the first play from scrimmage, the Skins plow him on another all out blitz.

What's funny to me is that Jerry, in large part, picked Garrett to be a HC for the Cowboys because of how he came in and played for us in a backup role to Troy. I mean, you have to see the irony there right?

I doubt we would have a QB controversy with Weeden.

You have a point and I also think that Romo is aware of that. This offense has enough weapons to make a pedestrian qb look good, Weeden played with crap in Cleveland and has a lively arm so he may impress in big D.

Thinks like these makes me remember to forget jerra as anything but a rich guy who half never coached or medically treated people but thinks he is a coach AND a doctor.

He is such a embarrassment.

I think most have this misconstrued. Jerry told him he'll be back for the game. Not that jerry said hes going in.

For the record, I actually agree with putting Romo back in, assuming he was healthy. I'm not arguing with that, but it should be the coach's decision. Not Dr. Jerry's.

I agree that it was the right decision as long as it was Garrett's decision. Jerry needs to stop undermining his HC

Whenever you see Jerry on the sideline, even if we're up 28 points, I get upset.

Stay in your box.

If the doctors gave the go ahead, there is no reason to not put Tony back in. Dez hurt his back on the SF game but came back. That is a normal thing to do. You don't put in Street, you stick with Dez, or in this case Romo.

Jerry needs to stay in the booth. With all of the money that he spent on Romo you would think that Jerry wouldn't be suggesting putting a injured Romo back into a game where he is getting hit all night long.

The way I read it, it seemed like Jerry was just relaying news. Like telling Garrett Romo would be able to play not forcing Garrett to put him back in. I'm not saying it's what happened or that the other way didn't.

that is correct. but the jerry bashers look for any little thing. jason was on the field and would'nt have known what was going on in the locker room. he just relayed the news to garrett

You really believe that Garrett didn't have any way to get what was going on in the locker room besides Jerry?
