Still one of the best superhero uniforms ever drawn. I wonder if Carol will wear/own the cosmic Nega-Bands at least?

Probably not. I don't the comic character has every worn them, but I could be wrong.

To be honest, I watched The Incredible Hulk because of Bill Bixby. I still consider him the best Banner, even with Mark Ruffalo rendition. Seeing the Hulk strain lifting cars was just too much for my mind to take. :)

Lynda Carter. me wowwow. :D

I have been pumping the idea of a hulk prequel using the TV story line. I think its the best story.

Lynda Carter... there was one episode where she was hanging upside down.... Now insert your = wowwow

Oh, it had everything to do with it. Marvel is none too happy with Fox retaining cinematic control of their characters. They want to be able to play with all of their 'toys'.

As a matter of fact, there are rumors that they're shutting down the Fantastic Four comic due in part to not having the rights to the characters and being upset with how Fox plans to present them in the upcoming film.

I truly think that the Inhumans are getting the push they are as a result of Fox owning the X-Men rights and Marvel seeking an alternative group.

I clearly remember the days when Marvel put an "X" on anything and everything they could. While I read my Avengers/West Coast Avengers comics and shook my head.
Funny that you mention the FF. I am still livid that they remade Galactus into a cosmic dust cloud. The change may have even been practical for a movie application but I hated that cloud with a passion.:p

It's probably for the best if the current Captain Marvel does not wear them. I just hate something as cool as the Nega-Bands got trashed.

You and me both!

I thought those FF films were 'OK' at best, but when compared to what Marvel is doing now, they're completely outclassed.

And I think this new 'interpretation' is an absolute trainwreck in the making.

Nobody involved has the right to be surprised when it fails miserably.

Hopefully, after that debacle, Marvel can get the rights back.

Dang it! My work internet's filtering it. And I forgot to grab my cellphone today. I could have used Safari to see it. :( Oh well. I'll just use my imagination. :p

Aw crap. The new Fantastic Four movie will be D.O.A.? That bites. It shows how inept Fox can be if they cannot make a superior movie out of the World's Greatest Fighting Team. At least the first two movies had Jessica Alba. :(

"Mr. McGee........ (stressed, cautious pause here).... "Dont make me angry......(stressed, cautious, blood boiling pause here)You wouldnt l like me when Im angry"

lol

It's kind of weird because there have been some very original bold female characters created, like Storm and Rogue for instance.

Chris Clairmont was awesome at female character originality and character. There was the whole Dark Phoenix thing, Emma Frost, Kitty Pryde, and Collosus' little sister Majik. I'm sure I forget many more off the top of my noggin but none of them had anything to do with depending on male "counterparts" or whatever.

Oh also - ELEKTRA! (yeah yeah, Frank Miller :) )

Even to this day, the Dark Phoenix Saga remains one of the best comics storylines ever created in my opinion. X-Men: Last Stand was a very weak (shoot, pitiful) attempt to capitalize on it.

There was a lot wrong about the movie Elektra but none of it had to do with Jennifer Garner. She was perfect for the role. Too bad the movie stunk.

Nooo! They're filtering it?! That ought to make you angry. They wouldn't like you when you're angry.
Methinks I will not be driving home today. If either of you see some goofy guy walking along the side of the road, trying to hitch a ride, with a sad piano tune playing softly in the distance, it's me. :p

In this fan's opinion anyway.

Everything I have read, seen, and heard tells me that it's going to be a monumental failure.

yep pretty obvious they don't really care to much about building a franchise out of it and are just making the movie so they don't lose the license.

One thing I find both curious and infuriating is the stories I've read about all of the fundamental changes they're making to it.

If you want to make something totally different, do that. But don't pick and choose certain parts and slap the name "Fantastic Four" on it.

Because it isn't.

Hm. Civil war is one of the most interesting series.

But I don't see how that will be a captain America standalone. It involved a TON of characters, and some of the more interesting aspects about it are null in this... Like superheroes having to disclose their identities.

Everyone knows Stark is Iron Man. Thor has no other name. Captain America's identity isn't secret. And banner is a big green rage monster. And the other two don't even have masks.
