I like that deal. Make it so every year we can decide to keep him or lose him and not get burned if he does something that we don't like or he stops progressing.

Sure, that deal is great for the Cowboys...of course, Dez would never take it, and some other team will offer him an absurd amount more than that.

20 mil is absurd. Dez is worth way more.

Ummm 20 million guaranteed... as long as he keeps playing like he has been he will keep getting 10 million every year... He doesn't we can drop him or trade him without any problems

This freaking rappaport dude is getting annoying. He has breaking cowboy news like every other day. Is he a beat reporter for the cowboys? Cause he sure acts like it.

I remember when he covered alabama and auburn for the Birmingham news. He is a joke. Never take anything he reports as legitimate. He is a TMZ style reporter

I don't think many teams give 10 year contracts to WRs in their mid-20s. Like I said if he keeps performing he has nothing to worry about

Gives the team as escape hatch if something goes wrong like his back or off the field. Pay as you go is a good strategy in this case.

All that matter is guaranteed.

Why do you think that? Why should players get paid even when they suck. This deal I believe would make him the third highest paid receiver in the league for as long as he performs. That has to mean something.

Rappaport is the next Ed Werder- making up "news" about the Cowboys in order to advance his career. Pathetic life, if you ask me.

If they give him a 10 year contract the last years would be fake/voidable years.
