And not all domestic violence is created equally. There's a difference between an enraged man shoving a physically violent woman away from him so he can remove himself from the situation....and this. Like you said, a reasonable, rational male never touches a woman. It just can't happen. But in the event the man does resort to reacting or retaliating to the provocation, only a small number of responses could possibly be justified on any level.

Certainly Hardy's alleged actions don't fit in that category.

What I am implying is, they are all treated the same way.

He supposedly dumped her way back. But she kept coming back now and than giving him free booty calls, trying to get back with him.

That's my take on it.

Come on man. Don't need to drag her down any farther. He took her back and at the end of the day she hasn't been cooperating with the police. She doesn't seem that bad for all of her coked up antics. Watch her in that video earlier in the thread. She is stoic through most of it but when her attorney talks about how they thank the press for allowing them privacy she lights up and starts nodding. She just wants to be left alone.

My only question/concern is this. The allged victim said she was choked with both hands by Hardy. Shouldn't there be evidence of that? And why wouldn't the charge be attempted murder? Especially in light of the fact she was allegedly told he was going to kill her on top of the alleged choking. Hardy is a big man. Hard to imagine there not being any evidence of the strangulation.

Hardy could have snapped her like a small stick. There was no scars and bruises and she didn't even go to the hospital. The only hurt she got was a bruised toe from kicking Hardy's car with her foot.

Hardy is not the one at fault here. She is. She has made a mockery out of those who are truly abused by their male counterparts. I wish there was a law that went after people like this woman here. What she did in itself is almost like a crime against those that are abused.

That's not a bruise log form the police report. That is an evidence log from the bench trial. There are 7 entries. 3 for Hardy's injuries and 4 for hers. I for one would like to see those pictures.

If they have a log then they should be able to show those pictures.

HAHAH ...yup...always liked that guys pipes...hit all the notes tonight

YIKES! I just looked up that song because I didn't recall it. After hearing it on youtube and instantly recognizing the riffs, I was thinking man...I remember that song but always thought the lyrics were "Smooth Opinion" (I was 11 then, so go figure..). My sisters used to listen to that. My sisters are saints, saints ya' hear me!

Anyway there was another song on that album called Kissing Kitty. Maybe your sister liked that one too :) jk

They were real version of the steel panther satire

God forbid you go back and read a little. I mean don't just jump into page 5 and demand everything be brought to you from pages 1-4....well I guess I have to dig it up for you since you might not be able to find this fictitious report of injuries.

A little help cause you might need it, just see the hover arrow to the right of the picture for the other documentations. 5 pages all together. YW

I posted this elsewhere and I will post this here... this case all comes down to 1 witness (who the police at the time said was unreliable and called AFTER Hardy while saying there was still a fight going on upstairs... that makes no sense if Hardy was the only aggressor like Holder claimed) and the bruises. Honestly... I think she went over to his house, drugged out of her mind (this seems to be pretty irrefutable) looking for a fight, and at some point in time he pushed her into the tub (which is what they both agreed was the cause of most of her bruises), the fight got to the bathroom... and for whatever reason (self-defense... rage... etc)... he pushed her into the the tub. He may have pushed her onto the couch later I am not sure (she claims he did and that caused the bruise on the back of her neck, but whatever), but it isn't hard to imagine that if you got pushed hard into the tub (which a guy like Hardy, pushing a drugged out girl... yea that is going to be a hard push) that it could result in bruises of the elbow and back and chin (which seem to be what the evidence list said was what they noticed initially, I honestly think the foot bruise was from her kicking something she shouldn't have). You tell me what punishment you think he deserves for pushing her into the tub. I am a Cowboys fan... but considering he missed 15 games already... why not fine him 4-8-12-whatever games pay and let him play?

You sound sexist, especially when you keep saying it the same way......I am not calling you sexist (no name calling), I am bringing it to the attention that your wording can be perceived as sexist.
Listen, by no means is this girl an angel. I mean to be with a loser you almost have to be one yourself. My point is that no matter what a girl does, says or her actions are it should never lead to getting beaten. He did everything to her other than punch her. I can't even believe I have to sit here and discuss this. A giant of a man vs a girl. Come on man, really? Need I say anymore?

Elbow, back and arm bruises could have come from the fall into the tub. She said he threw her into it, he said she threw herself into it when he asked her to leave. Would it be crazy for her to do that? Absolutely, but we already know she was acting crazy, which brings us to the bruises on her foot and ankle - they most likely resulted from her kicking his car in public, which witnesses have testified to.She was drunk, coked up and out of control. It's not a huge leap to say that under those circumstances she could have gotten bruised up without major input from him or anyone else.

I personally think the fall into the tub was a little of both. I think they were probably fighting and he likely shoved her into the tub - it's pure speculation, but I've seen drunks argue and fight before, and that seems entirely plausible to me.

And notice, it says dozens of photos - not dozens of bruises. We already have a good idea where the foot and ankle injury came from. Let's see how badly bruised she is in the photos before we label any thing a beating. Also, Hardy shot video of her with his phone when she was going crazy. She already testified to that, and he's alluded to having video. So hopefully we'll get that as well.

I don't really know what people are trying to accomplish with their outrage over the misdemeanor. I see no predatory behavior on his part.

That's easy, it's because people didn't make a huge deal out of Ray Rice, then they saw the video. Now anyone who feels guilty about it has to absolutely crucify the next guy to be accused of 'domestic violence' just so that they can feel good about themselves again. I have heard people say that Hardy beat her to within an inch of her life, even one of the hosts on the Ticket the day after he was signed.

You probably haven't noticed, but people in general are pretty stupid herd animals. The herd has been metaphorically spooked, now it just needs a direction to stampede.

My article is after that and it says she went to the hospital for what its worth.

She refused medical treatment and then went to the hospital on her own afterwards. In the police report it categorized the injuries as 'minor.' Her injury status, refusal of treatment, and alcohol fueled unwillingness to cooperate were all mentioned in the report.

Or people just don't agree with touching women at all and find it comical that a massive NFL player is getting excuses like "he had to defend himself" from a petite woman. Just saying. In my book they both probably crossed the line.
