I am starting to think Jerry sold his soul to the devil because if Collins signs with Dallas we would of had quite frankly one of the most legendary offseasons of all time for a playoff caliber team.

But we lost Murray so all is lost

If we sign Collins, then our 1st round pick would be our third best rookie. Haha.

And the lowest rated one would be the only one we spent a 1st on. That's the kind of draft other teams look back at in 3 years and say, "How the hell did we let that happen?"

According to this he's not scheduled to visit the Cowboys, he already had his visit.

Watch him decide to go to the Dolphins. I think they are on the cusp of being really, really good.

It shouldn't surprise anyone either way. I could see him signing here, but realistically they're competing against a lot of other teams. I'm biased so I think this would be the best spot for him. Maybe not this year, but 3 years from now I have little doubt this is the best place for him.

Well shoot. I would have hoped he wouldn't have left without a signature.

He has a rare choice for a first round talent... he can literally decide exactly where he wants to play next year. That probably isn't a decision he is taking lightly.

I see a lot of moving parts if we were to sign him. If he winds up at tackle, you have tons of tackle depth with Free being the swing tackle and Green being the 4th tackle on the roster. Gibson would go to the PS and Weems would be cut.

You could also have him play guard, and Leary becomes the backup RG, and you probably have Bernadeau as the backup center, and get a true center to replace him next year.

I think it is also important to note that Free has some injury issues that might keep him out of camp at the offset.

Thats what the he won't start crowd is forgetting. Collins could get a majority of the snaps in TC. If he really shines while Free is healing do they still start Free?

If collins comes here he will make an insane amount of money on his next contract- why? We have the best O-line in football. His tape is going to look even better playing next to Tyron and Frederick or next to Martin.

It would be easyfor him to shine here. Not to mention that our o-line is the modt talked about line of the last 10 years.

I think people are overlooking that fact that there was a real chance Free wasn't even going to be here this year, but they liked him more than Parnell, but didn't want to be forced to take a tackle in RD1.

I think there would be a solid shot that Collins would start over Free, and if not Free then Leary.

If Collins is holding out to be a LT.... well this is game over, but I'm not sure how well he is going to do at LT anyways.

If his aim is a starting LT this year, I doubt he even wastes time to visiting here. Thats just not going to happen here, be it this year or 4 years from now.

Interesting that NFL. COM doesn't mention a Dallas visit at all. Seems strange they wouldn't be all over this.
