Tom Brady suspended for four games

what evidence did they have? "probably" knew something surely cannot be the determining factor. Can it?

what evidence did they have? All this BS that they didn't have anything......

Well, what about the under inflated footballs to start with?

Or the "smoking gun" text messages between the trainers how much air they are to take of the footballs to satisfy Tom?

How much more evidence do you need?o_O

Their backup QB goes 2-2.

What will the ratings be for their game with the Colts?

According to ESPN looks like one of two things can happen. Goodell could choose to hear the appeal (bad for Brady) or he could assign an independent arbitrator (good for Brady).

I think Roger might want to send a message with this one.

Think of all those cold weather games in New England when the footballs were hard and slick.

Except for the Patriots..

The one equipment manager called himself the "Deflator"

The point isn't that it was "only deflating balls."

The point is that they cheated. Cheaters are supposed to be disqualified. We learn that from an early age. Makes me sick that these twice over cheaters have won 4 Super Bowls. Their win against the Colts should be taken away, plain and simple. It won't ever happen, but that's what should happen. I don't care how much they won by.

So to me, a 4 game suspension and losing a 1st rounder and 4th rounder is a slap on the wrist.

If I could just cheat the rules but win a Super Bowl, I'll give up my 1st rounder every season.

You and me both :lmao:

A small slap on the hand with a feather as far as I am concerned.
Should be a lot more suspension. for Brady and the Coaching staff.http://i9.***BLOCKED***/albums/a92/radar69/Cheaters_zpsrvelucrv.jpg

WOW!!!! I don't want to hear about how it doesn't make a difference.

those telling me to read the report, no thanks, i dont have time or to be honest the inclination, hence the reason i asked what evidence do they have.

I hope this stops people crying about goodell being krafts puppet anyway.

The arbitration appeal won't likely reduce anything. It would be an appeal to the courts that would reduce anything, and the only thing the NFLPA has been winning on in that regard is the lack of precedent in the domestic violence context. There is, however, precedent for a 4 game suspension for cheating.

I agree but I would add that I don't see it going to court. If it goes to court, Brady risks having to turn over his texts and emails which will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the whole thing came from him.

I keep seeing this thrown around but people don't understand why that phrasing was used. The "more probable than not" also known as a "preponderance of the evidence" is the wording used in civil cases. "Beyond a reasonable doubt" is used in criminal cases.

The league actually operated under the concept of "beyond a reasonable doubt" before Goodell changed the requirements "to preserve the competitive integrity of the league" and "maintain public confidence."

And he changed it because of the Patriots. After....get this...spygate.

This slap on the wrist confirms Goodell is Mr Krafty's puppet

Once piece of evidence is that the persons accused of deflating balls actually admitted to deflating balls in text messages to one another. Then those same people offered up ridiculous stories to explain what are otherwise easily understandable texts.
