And who's to say the cb we draft does not end up like MO.

Then at that point we lost.

I've heard they are going to make T. Williams a two way player. He will now be both starting WR and starting CB. They wanted to get a CB with great ball skills to rack up the INTs.

i and 10 others, btw. let's not exclude all those YOU brought into this. and yea, quote me i have an agenda. find that quote where i said that.

don't go asking me for crap you are not even going to provide, son. that's a party foul on any level.

...Now you're not making sense. You read a post, took it in with your bias in tact as many others have, and your group think makes you think you're all right.

If you think someone made a claim, please quote them exactly in what they said that lead you to believe that.

Your inability to do so is why I suggest you have an agenda. There is nothing that I need to quote from you.

Scandrick pay in terms of CB is not that high. I expect Dallas to replace him if someone comes in and out plays him but in terms of money his pay is not that high. Carr on the other hand is not playing good and his pay is massive.

It's all relative.

The point I think you are missing is the fact that they did not cut or trade Trufant even though he was older than Scandrick will be in 2016 and of comparable cost.

Marcus Trufant was a pro bowl corner. It's kind of apples and oranges.

I think it comes down to play. I don't think the money is that big to be a major factor. If next year the highest paid CB on the team is making 6 mill and the rest are on rookie contracts of a low vet contract then the overall position of CB is taking a smaller portion of the cap than what we currently are seeing.

Scandrick is playing at a much higher level now than Trufant was when Seattle did their overhaul of the secondary

I'm still not sure why everyone is in love with Scandrick. I don't think he played exceptionally at all. Was he as bad as Carr was sometimes out there? No, but I think you're overrating him.

I think money is a huge factor when you have a bunch of players that still need to be re-signed.

He allowed 9.9 yards per reception and was one of three cornerbacks to go the entire season without giving up a touchdown. The other two were Chris Harris and Vontae Davis. Certainly is fair to say he played at a Pro Bowl level.

Not me, if someone can beat him out next year then great. I think he is a better slot CB than outside but again if he is playing good ball then that is what matters. Not in love with him but also not looking to run him off.

My point isn't to run him off, my point is if he is the most expensive luxury on the team, than I would look to move him first.

In terms of a starting CB his pay it is still much less. Hell Dallas could go out and get cheap CB that does not solve jack having guys who can actually play and contribute is what will win games. Yes others guys need to sign and hate to tell you not all will.

He is a quality CB, elite? no but then he is not being paid elite type money. Carr is and expectation of him should be elite play for elite pay that is not happening. Dallas running off CB is not going to win games getting good CB will

It's not just about the cost of a starting cb, especially when you can draft a guy for cheaper. You have to look at the overall cost. Please tell me where else you would cut to sign guys back next year.

Galian.. I'm having such a hard time understanding why you're arguing this point given the facts involved and the direct comparison to other situations at corner (Mo, Carr).. But carry on sir.

Oscandalous is worth every penny being paid to his bank acct.

any and all cuts would have more to do with play. If Scandrick play is good then he is worth keeping his pay in the last 2 years drops to 3.5 mill that is down right cheap. This year it is 6 and next year 7 but even that is low compared to many other CB in the league. If he looses his job I doubt it will be over pay it more likely will be about his play.

and you stop to wonder why people think you have an axe to grind or an agenda. then you stop and wonder why they reply the way they do. then you blame them for being a wrong individual although you mention many have misinterpreted you, then you ask for proof of what you've said VERBATIM looking past the rest of what you've implied many many times, then you stop and do something no one really gives a damn about cause they've lost interest at this point.

Still a little bitter that we caved to him, but he's been the most consistent player on defense the past couple of years, and is a key ingredient to what we're trying to cook up.
