Scandrick "I think it's kind of funny to me that somebody can hate you so much but they don't even know you"

NFL Network woman (I honestly forget her name) "Yea, well that's Philadelphia, get used to it"

philly hell, all he has to do is look in here at the way *some* people carry on.

Similar to how I hate Philadelphia but have never been there. It's rather easy when you think about it.

I've been there. My wife and I had just arrived in Philly and it was about 11:30PM. We went to eat and were having a conversation with the waiter and we were talking about football and I noted I was a Cowboys fan. About two hours later when I was in my hotel room, I got extremely sick from food poisoning.

If I hadn't had to catch a train again at 5AM, I would have went back to that restaurant to have another conversation with that ******* *******.

I NEVER say trust me, but do so. You never want to go to that POS town or deal with those POS people.

Yikes. Did you ever follow up? Sounds like a pretty serious situation.

I never been there, but met and worked with people from there. Even dated a lady from there.
They all showed their true colors at some point.

The lady I dated, she was 16 when her family moved to the DFW area. She was early 40's when we met. Seemed very nice and everyone thought so. but in reality, she wasn't very nice or honest. Learned that after we started dating of course.
Others I worked with and had contact with...all showed their hate at some point. and not just toward the Cowboys, toward life in general.

No, my wife and I were actually heading out on our honeymoon. (it's been almost 9 years ago now) We were just passing through Philly back to NYC and then taking a flight out of the country. We didn't come back for close to three weeks. As soon as we got back, we were in negotiations to purchase our home / close on it. By the time everything had settled down, it had been over two months so I ended up just letting it go.

Philly is a cesspool.

I've been there for business multiple times, and there's just this cloud of futility that hangs over the city. People are mad at everything, and they think everybody owes them something.

It's like all the smart, accomplished folks moved to New York, DC, Chicago, and Boston, and left all these losers behind.

Historically terrible people, town, and football team.

And the cheesesteaks there are overrated, too.

Is this really a Murray thread in disguise?

I think that's just more fire to an already raging fire. I don't think Cowboy Fans need Murray to hate the Eagles and same goes the other way. That's what's great about the NFCE.
