I think dire comes from having one guy to play the role at this point.

They had to put Clutts in on third down because Seastrunk and Gus Johnson can't do it.

When you're down to Randle and Clutts, it's a clear wake up call to do something.

I hope that is the plan. Even if it is a legit player that can actually be Randle's backup...just bring in someone with a little experience that isn't injury prone

Dunbar, DMAC, and Williams were all on the roster then and all healthy...

I don't have much faith in Dunbar and McFadden staying healthy, get a good backup in here and take a good look at Seastrunk. Seastrunk looked really good in the film I saw and he can take it to the house with his speed.

Randle clearly is the starter and Dunbar is the change of pace 3rd down RB. I don't think those plans have changed all summer. They hope McFadden can be a backup option but perhaps confidence in him is waning due to him being injured already.

If any move is made at RB, they'll simply switch out one vet RB for another. Likely Chris Johnson signed with DMC being cut. But I think we're at least 3 weeks away from such a move being a real possibility.

I think the situation is far from dire, obviously management feels the same way. If it was a dire situation they'd have drafted for a RB, or traded for one, or brought in some of the free agents out there.

How many reports do there need to be confirming as of this writing the boys have no interest in CJ? Archer/Smith as well as the report from FW star back in May? He was brought in and the cowboys had no interest? I am pretty sure these have all been posted in the CJ agent reached out to cowboys thread....

No panic...for me just a statement..the panic ensued over my "dire" stated opinion I am not worried...I have faith..I have hope....next Thursday is when it gets real for Randle, Dunbar, and DMAC...until then its all armchair politics
