Cowboys Set To Work Out Four Veteran QBs - J.Johnson, M Flynn, C.Ponder and McLeod Bethel-Thompson

Ponder is from Dallas. He looks OK on paper, he's only 27, but I just remember him being awful last year.

Hey, if the back up to our back up has to play, season is ovah.....

we need 3 wins in the next 7 games, and pray Romo is ready on time....

those 3 wins wont be easy,,,

He showed flashes early in his career. Maybe he can be salvaged. The physical talent is there.

I think Ponder is the best of who is available .

Garrett will figure it out and Linehan.

I think you have to look now at who has the best chance to also be in consideration to develop to ultimately replace Romo.

This injury added to all the rest in the last 5 years starts to really close the window on Romo's career.

You don't keep coming back from this stuff and get better.

It's time to rebuild the QB situation now..

and unless we plan on going 3-13 or something in order to draft somebody..

a plan has to be created and done.

I like Romo but...

He led the Vikings to a 10-6 season in 2012. 18 TD and 12 INT. He certainly had something back then. Not Tony-level, but a good enough bus driver.

According to current reports.

I suppose we could doo better but at least Jerra be proactive!
I would hate us down the road another week with no fresh QB meat. Keep bringing them in I say in the name off Jeff Garcia.

I am 100% for this one. I'd honestly feel better about Flynn than Weeden.

For his career, Flynn is over 60% completion percentage and nearly 2-1 TD/INT ratio. Those stats are good enough to not lose games for you.

If Ponder is working out next to him then he has no chance.

Ponder is so talented and has played in so many games. He'll 100% for sure be the guy we sign.

He just doesn't win or lose games which may be exactly what we need. He's not going to,really help or hurt you.

Flynn keeps getting chances and he's done nothing with them lol

I dunno. Flynn has lived a pretty charmed life....

QB of a BCS national champion LSU team
Earned a superbowl ring (as a backup)
$25M+ of earnings during his career
Married Ms. Louisiana
Played a couple really spectacular games
Got to see / live in lots of NFL cities....

:D

Personal stats Romo be without peers.
Playoff wise no so good, homes.
Mein dissapointment half been that yes maybe heis ready to go to the next level but at his now fragile (a Italian word) self and advanced age, where do we go, grenadiers off the Internet huh?
Be proactive like the girls approaching Jerra at the club. Say it loud and proud. QB for the future in 1-2 years down the road!!!
Let us see Romo bounce back but get Plan Bee going on a QB 4 the future, dats dope!
Tears cover mein eys so i must go.
holla

Tebow is the classic 12 for 29 but with 2 touchdowns and a W type quarterback. There's no question he's a better option than Josh Johnson, and most of the third quarterbacks in the league. He's being blackballed for being "a distraction" whatever that means.
