I never was a fan of the committee approach... RBs need rhythm, choose one back and ride him! I would prefer that running back to be Michael.

I dont care who they put in at RB or WR or QB. Just put someone else in there;

We got CM, MC and BB for a reason. I know, depth. Well, the starters arent getting it done. Time to give some others their shot.

Free is no good right now. The O line needs to wake up! Get Collins in if Leary isn't really ready to play. So mad right now because I thought the O line was the least of our worries. How can you fall of so in ONE year?!?!

Easy.. You go from having a great OL coach to an inferior one.

I'll be sorely disappointed if the Dallas powers-that-be don't elect to give Cassel and C-Mike a shot as our QB and RB after the bye. Cassel's career stats have proven better than Weeden's throughout his career, while Weeden has long proven that he can't withstand the stress that his position subjects him to. C-Mike might or might not show himself to be what this team needs but he at least deserves a chance to compete for an opportunity to make his case. The bye week should afford the staff a perfect time to get these things accomplished. I expect C-Mike to get some action vs. NE but just how much he's afforded remains to be seen.

His supposed bonehead play was a Touchdown lol. He is far and away the most over critiqued player I think I've ever seen.

You seem to be one of the few who simply don't get it. You are the forum's Joseph Randle. As others have stated, it can't be fixed.

I've always known you were a bit limited, but I'm starting to wonder if you actually ARE Quincy Carter. If so, I'm afraid that the drugs have not been kind to you.

It was not a supposed boneheaded play, it was a boneheaded play. It is only 'supposed' to you and a very select few who are either filling out the bottom of the IQ bell curve or are simply trolling the rest of us. He's being critiqued for his idiotic acts. If you look at those acts and don't see anything wrong with them it probably says more about you than it does the people doing the critiquing. Unfortunately, if you are one of those people who sees nothing wrong with the acts you'll probably never be able to figure it out anyway.

I'll probably get benched for this, but frankly it's worth it to have the opportunity to point out how truly moronic your stance is. And thanks again for propping up the rest of us on that bell curve.

I'm really on the fence about much of this. I'm not crazy about Weeden or Randle...never have been. But they have not been nearly as disappointing as I thought they would be. In the last two outings the offense Weeden piloted and Randle supported scored enough points to win in the NFL. If anything, it has been the defense that has failed the Cowboys...not the quarterback and the running back.

Just my opinion.

Agree with what you're saying but part of the reason the defense is getting torched is because we can't hold onto the ball offensively.

We scored enough points against Atlanta and then we went into a complete shell.

Time of possession is so important now days with how difficult it is to play defense.

Predictability on first down is killing us. They want to run to get us in better down and distances but it's doing the opposite and killing drives.

We could mix in some high percentage passes on 1st down but we just refuse not to tip our hand to the defense throughout the game for some reason.

The issue, as I see it, is the Cowboys got away with being predictable last year. They were able to impose their will on teams...and they still be able to do that this year once back to full strength. They just don't have the horses to do it now.

They need to mix it up and keep the other team guessing !!!

Weeden has played fine as a backup this year.

He actually has a higher QB Rating than Romo (108.8 vs. 98.8) and a higher YPA (9.3 vs. 7.2). And Weeden is playing without Dez.

Maybe Cassel is better, but I have my doubts.

I think where this team screwed up is by giving Murray so many carries last year. If he had 320 carries, it would still be a lot of carries (20 per game) and he would not have broken as many records and possibly have driven down his price tag. And I would be more optimistic that he wasn't going to break down.

I think McFadden should start. He has more home run ability and hits the hole harder. He's just too hit or miss, but I'll take him over Randle. And hopefully we can work Michael into the fold, soon. It's too bad about Dunbar.

McFadden start? He should not even be on the roster. It was a bad signing from day one. I couldn't believe that posters actually thought that he was going to come in and be a great RB just because he now wears a different uniform . I have a little hope for CM. at least he is not a proven failure like the other RBs on the roster. The one and only solution to the RB problem is to trade for a decent RB or wait until the draft to get one. They really need to draft a couple RBs and cut the current ones on the roster.

McFadden is basically on a pay for performance rate. He hasn't logged in many carries and given we didn't have Michael until the start of the season...I don't know how anybody could say that McFadden shouldn't be on the roster. It's ludicrous.

I think McFadden should start for now. Let's see what he can do with some carries under his belt and getting into a rhythm and until Michael is more acclimated. Randle isn't the answer as the starter. And judging by his comments after the game...he's probably not the RKG for this team.

Absolutely! I think it's crystal clear that everyone blindly following behind the running back decisions have been proven dead wrong. Not that they'll ever admit it...
