Kind of worried for Matz, he might come out a little too amped up. I hope the Mets saved some runs for Tuesday, it doesn't usually go well the day after they give a spanking!

The mets should have had deGrom/Harvey for 4 games. Because that's how it's done. You put your aces in those spots.

I don't know what to expect for game 5 really. If anyone gets the blame........I place it on Duda and Wright. I cringe when they come up in big spots and I love DW. Never was a Duda fan but he is better than Ike.

IF we make it to the next round, Harvey will have to step up since Jacob won't be available until later.

Win or lose, I never expected the Mets to even be here............................

Back up that Brinks truck for Cespedes and try again!
 
as great as Cespedes has been, I dont see how Sandy and the Wilpons give $20 million+ per year to him. It is not in their DNA. They are a big market team with a small market mentality. Hopefully they pay attention to what Citi was like the last two nights and do what is right for their fans.

I really like deGrom for this. It's as close to a lock that you can get IMO.
I can't blame the hitters. Post season is about the pitchers.
Boras and Harvey picked wrong time for this nonsense.

How many chances do teams get to make a serous run at ws title ( well if you are Yankees then the answer is many) but.... They should have been full steam ahead.

Your BEST to advance to next round.
You can't save for what is not guaranteed(next round).
 
i heard today the first Back to the Future Movie had a scene that said the Cubs won the world series in 2015. That would be funny if that came true. but still, Go mets..

I'm a little torn. I want wright and Collins to win ws but dont like the mets.

I'd be ok with cubbies. Madden and the curse would be nice story.

Mattingly getting one would be nice too.
 
I always admired the Jets chant as a Giants fan. Any harm if I modify it and use it for Mets? :) M-E-T-S METS METS METS
 
Mets-Cubs

Like both teams equally. Won't be upset if Cubs win or Mets win as I am really rooting for them as well. Should be a stress free series for me.
