i am pretty calm and relaxed through the first six innings. The 7th, 8th and 9th are pure torture. I am exhausted. Great game by the pitchers. Cubs are going to be tough. I dont think the Mets have beat them in two years. But still, I think they match up well. Happy for Collins. Happy for Murphy. the guy is crazy but what a performance tonight. Matt Harvey Saturday for the NLCS, Syndergarrd for game two, and Degrom for game three.

Now I have to figure out this weekend. Grandson has a baseball tournament in Orlando Sat and Sunday, LSU plays Florida (Geaux Tigers), Mets play, Packers play, and I have 15 appraisals I have to get out by Monday. I have nothing to do this weekend.

Congrats Dexter, we deserve this as long suffering Met fans.

What's funny is back to the future part 2

Now... Cubs have no chance at beating Miami(not in it and .... They are national league anyway...)

Funny this is.... Cubs may make it to World Series with their new manager which came from a Florida team (Tampa bay rays)

Harvey was money. Bodes well for Mets with their third best pitcher shutting the Cubs down like they did. Now Syndergaard and Degrom get to take the mound. Hope the 100 warm up pitches Syndergaard threw in LA dont affect him tomorrow.

The Mets have a very Yankee look to them.

I think they win this series... Maybe in 5

Had quite a bit of scotch left, so I went reading the Cubs message boards. That is quite entertaining to say the least. They say that the ump is squeezing them but not us, the weather is unfair because the Mets are used to the cold(err....what???) and our big three are juicing.

It will be even sweeter beating those guys that the Dodgers. Who is next? I want KC!

I think the Cubs winning every game the psat two years they felt entitled to winning. Joe Ma (as he was called down here) thinks he is some computer savant with baseball stats. Nice to see the Mets pitchers just silencing their bats. Looking for Jake to have a great game on Tuesday after last weeks game against LA. Cubs have no idea who they are going to use in game four and probably are reluctant to throw Hendricks out there Tuesday. Hopefully that helps the Mets bats not named Murphy and Granderson. Big advantage pitching wise now in favor of Mets.

How come Chicago players are more bundled up than mets players? Lol

Yeah... When you crying and whining during the year.... I told that the mets touching staff would be one that no one would want to face in playoffs.

The mets with their closer are looking very Yankee/Mariano-like.... Not Orioles/Buck-like.

Lmao

Lol

Tainted is not associated with Yankees. You are confusing us with patriots.

Kirk Randomski supplied how many met players. Some probably never got caught.

Oh and there's these guys... Lmao

Vaughn, Mejia, Paul LoDuca, Todd Hundley, Matt Franco and Lenny Dykstra.

What? Doesn't count if you don't win World Series for Mets?

lol-dude I have been operating on about 5 hours sleep a night for the last week and feel punch drunk whatever that is. so far behind on work it is not even funny. I had a good weekend tho. Grandsons team won on Saturday with him scoring the winning run by stealing third and scoring when the catcher threw the ball in to left field, LSU and the Mets won, then sunday Packers and Mets won. But I did not get my work done. Anyway, Mets never won a world series with any of those yahoos you mentioned. Yankees ran Roidger "the bat is a baseball let me throw it at you Mike Piazza" to several World Series. And Ol Jokin Joe Torre in his epic post game response "why would he do that?" Because he was juiced up Joe.

Go Metsies. This game tonight is big. Hopefully Jake has his control. Already pumped for it.

Probably a night the game goes till 2 in the morning by playing 18 innings. As long as the Mets win I can deal with it.
