Demarco was calling out our plays from the sideline

What's it say when you leave a team for its rival? He was given a fair offer and still went to the eagles. He chose the almighty dollar over everything. He had a better chance at a ring with the Cowboys because he fit the scheme better here. He didn't think about endorsements and everything else that comes with being a SB champ in Dallas. The only reason he was offered that amount is because chip wanted him away from Dallas. Loyalty. It's a powerful word that should mean more than it does. It would be different if Jerry lowballed him.

LOL, real easy to talk about loyalty when it's someone elses money and life at stake.

He's an NFL player and a running back to boot, the money he makes in the next few years will quite possibly be the majority of what he makes for the rest of his life. He doesn't owe anyone a damn thing.

Especially when the Cowboys acted like they didn't really want him.

They wanted him at their price. He was real close to getting into the Get A Long Gang with Witten, Romo and Garrett. But then, denied.

Are you serious? The mentality some of you guys have is just crazy. What do you mean he was given a fair offer? Fair to who? You? This was his last chance at a big pay day and he earned it for what he did last year. The Eagles offered him a lot more money guaranteed and they have an organization that will be in the hunt for a playoff berth every year. He would have been crazy to turn down that offer that Philly gave him.

Preach Wayne. PREACH

Weren't we supposed to have called out an opponents tendencies earlier in the year? Thought I recalled reading that...perhaps not.

Thing is, the defense at the end & another turnover that led directly to points for the opponent, led to the Boys demise...not Murray.

Ok, so were calling out their offense in the first game and they had no offense whatsoever. If the Eagles were calling out our offensive plays, we still had over 400 yards of offense and maybe, maybe if we win the coin toss, we win.

Eagles whined that we were calling their plays after the first one, I believe.

How did we strong him along? We low balled him day 1 and continued to do it. We never had any intent on resigning him and everyone knew it.

For one we did lowball him. Second we told him to test free agency to see his worth as if we may match an offer but we didn't. Let's look at his contract 5 years 40 million 18 million guaranteed. In my book Murray is worth 15-20 million guarantee. Murray had offers from other teams willing to pay him more!!! But for some reason we went cheap and it back fired on us.

The Eagles saved their season this past Sunday with a win over the Dallas Cowboys, and running back DeMarco Murray might have helped them in more ways than one.

While he finished with eight carries for 83 yards and a touchdown during the game, Murray also seemed to help out the defense.

As you can see in the video above, via NFL.com, Murray is calling out the Cowboys' plays on offense before they run them, tipping off Eagles cornerback Nolan Carroll what route the receiver is running.

Nothing wrong with what Murray did. I don't even see it as classless at all.

Maybe if our coaches were smart they would have drawn up a new game plan based on what Murray knew and throw in wrinkle here and there to keep their defense honest.

The entire blame goes to Garrett and his predictability and lack of innovation. Can't he do something else besides clap and call for 1 after we score?

Goes both ways. Cowboys didn't even counter offer and didn't try to talk him out of it. Its the take it or leave it approach that the Cowboys gave Murray which really tipped the scale into the Eagles favor. Murray wanted to stay. But I doubt the Cowboys wanted to resign him no matter what the price is. We paid the price with Randle and inept run game all year.

We lowballed him because we valued our offensive line over him. And we were proven right. Demarco has not had a great year at all.

That's what makes me sad.... But I will get over it.

Yeah they never had any intent on re-signing him IMO. From the minute they ran him to the ground and didn't give Dunbar and Randle many carries as if they wanted to save them for the next season.
