Best at sacking Hollywood starlets?

You've got so much evidence to back your profound statement. I guess we're just all morons. Thanks for putting us all in our respective places, Mrs. Romo.

Lot of you are.

I just laugh when anyone says they would take any players from the last 5-10 years over any past Cowboy, with the only exceptions being Ware or Witten.

You wouldn't know if from the past 20 years, but this team has amazing players in our history, and best of all, they have CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Romo is a stats QB, so if you love stats, of course, he's your QB.

Me? I love the QB's with the rings!

The Cowboys are fortunate to have had so many good quarterbacks in its history. Each of them should be recognized and honored for what each brought to the franchise.

However, if greatness is equated to post season success (e.g. Super Bowls), then there have only been two.

Tony is the best Dallas qb ever. Name another Superbowl winning Dallas qb hampered by Jason Garrett?

Don't worry...I'll wait.

Every time I scroll down the board and see this thread title I just shake my head.
Either you never saw Aikman, Roger, even Danny White play.
What makes a great QB is their ability to play great during the most important games and winning those games.
Did Aikman ever throw a interception when he won super bowls? How about Roger?
Come on with Romo being the greatest QB the Cowboys ever had. Comments like that make Cowboys fans look stupid.

Aikman won with Barry Switzer. Barry stinking Switzer. The guy was just a guy on the sidelines because technically you have to have a head coach.

Send Romo back to the Jimmy years and he gets rings. I think Troy was the better of the two but that team was coached almost to perfection.
It didn't rely on the QB. It was well coached across the board.

I still love Tony Romo and will still pull hard for him to be successful. He is my favorite Cowboy ever. What he's overcome just to be in the position he is in is amazing. I give him all the credit in the world for what he's accomplished in life.

I've never wanted another player to have more success than I have Tony. He's tough as nails and gives every ounce of himself to this franchise. He IS the Dallas Cowboys. So he sucked today. So what? Aikman sucked in plenty of games. Anybody remember Troy not being able to throw a wet or even damp ball? So did roger. And Danny white. Etc etc. If Tony played under Tom Landry or Jimmy Johnson there's no telling how many more Super bowl trophies we would have.

He is a role model for every little boy watching football today. And he's a great guy on top of it and not a ****** like Aaron Rodgers or Peyton manning. I hate that people have this loser perception of Tony. Because he's anything but a loser. He's the definition of the American Dream. And to me he is the greatest cowboy Qb ever. And there's nothing anybody can say to make me think any different

I love Tony too and while not my #1 favorite he is up there.

It's nice how well you speak of him.

Aikman and Staubach won SB's. Tony didn't.

Great QB, but SB's make you infamous. It's why a chump like Eli might sniff the hall.

The problem with your dream scenario is its rubbish and bs based on your wishes and magical mix and match era scenarios.

Romo plays in a complete different time and era where DBs can't touch WRs and teams run a spread offense. It's WAY different. There is a reason why Aikman and Staubach are HOFers. They played in a rough era where WRs got beat up and QBs too. They had to be accurate and the teams ran the ball do numbers were skewed. If you are younger than 25-30 you are clueless unless you saw Cowboys v Steelers in the late 70s or even White and Cowboys v 49ers in 80s. Different brand of football. Romos freestyle might have been disaster back then but we don't know. Your points hold no water because Romo has had plenty of games like today in big games. I love the guy but that's the truth

I watched them all. Tonys the best at playing the position of QB, then Roger then Troy. All of the greats had games like today. All of them. The ignorance shown here is expected for this forum which tolerates ignorance.

Look, Romo's a pretty good QB, we all would love to see him be greatest QB the Cowboys ever had, but sadly, he's just not. He's got a choke factor he just can't shake. At this point in his career he'll never become that guy. Time and injuries are not on his side.

With Jimmy's team...
