Jim Nantz trying to stir the pot by saying the Burfict sack on Ben was not clean. Insinuating that Burfict picked him up and pile drove him into the ground. Wasn't even close to that and Mike Carey put Nantz in his place. Stick to The Masters broadcasts....Jim.

Cincy made the right play call, running the ball at the end. Steelers had 3 TOs left. Cincy needed either a 1st down or to keep it inside the 30 to have a chance a FG. The play call was fine. Hill not two handing that ball and fighting for additional yards when he didn't have to was not. Did any coach talk to him about ball security before that drive started?

The 2 point conversion play...as an embarrassing of an execution attempt since the Colts fake punt against the Pats this year.

Does A. Brown get a concussion if he doesn't get hung out to dry by Little Ben if Tomlin doesn't put a known injured QB into the game? Probably doesn't care. He got the win, standard "we'll take it, we'll clean some things up, it wasn't perfect, we'll address this and that..." response.

Munchak and Porter both knew what they were doing in their respective situations.

Some Cincy assistant coaches have either interviewed or will be interviewing for HC jobs. If you're a team that has or is going to be interviewing one of these guys does the lack of control of their players concern you after tonight? Might be looking at my list of candidates again.

The Shazier hit is what the league says is an acceptable hit because the ball carrier is a runner. I don't know how when that style of hit can injure both the carrier and the tackler. Led with his helmet, could hurt his own head or neck but the league strives for safety.

Cincy fans, you're level of scumbaggery doesn't come close to the Eagles but you gave it a great effort. Throwing stuff at Ben as he's being carted off...classy...but childs play versus Eagles fans dispatching Santa with snow balls.

I sooooooo look forward to the explanations of the players who melted down or fumbled or caused issues on the field via the cloak of twitter or snap chat or facebook versus facing the music for real through the word known as accountability.

Other than the complaining of the wet balls I thought AJ M handled the presser well. Probably has his own thoughts about certain teammates but went about it the right way at the presser. In the meantime call T. Brady who practices with soaking wet balls and ask him for tips. I'm sorry you had a playoff win pulled out from under your feet by some teammates who lack emotional control.

As a fan of football I felt like I watched a great game tonight but was robbed of its greatness at the end. It was a disgrace really and both organizations can shoulder the blame.

How should Shazier launching himself with the crown of his helmet into the head of another player then celebrating on the opposing teams logo be dealt with?

I viewed Shazier hit as clean. The ball carrier caught the ball and started to turn up field, and shazier was the first guy to make contact and i saw it like he wasnt able to stop.

I thought Burfilct should have been able to stop and avoid the hit. But it was close, for sure; I need to watch both plays again though......

two wrongs dont make a right though.

There is no doubt that Brown saw Burfict and then lowered his head. It's clear in the replay. You can say it was a defensive move, but it didn't look like it to me, but either way at that point it is out of the hands of the defender (who went low, not high).

It wasn't just where or how he hit him. He was late coming in and had enough time to pull up and not blast a defenseless reciever. Burfict is a jack ***, same as pac man. Those guys will find themselves on the wrong end of calls.

Interesting that both wrongs favored the steelers by the zebras. ..yet again and again.

I dont care either way. I dont favor the steelers or bengals. Just the way I saw it, last night. I did think shazier might have been spearing, but it was close. and I cant say he did it intentionally. I got the sense Burflict was out for vengeance and was looking to make that hit.

so sick of receivers lowering their head and getting calls, just ridiculous. and if the running back for Cincy that got crowned by Shazier wasn't defenseless then just git rid of the rule.

Shaziers hit was a classic spear which is supposed to be illegal now. He lead with the crown of his helmet, launched himself, and made contact square in the other players helmet. That is supposed to be a penalty now. Am I wrong? Also, the player may have turned around but it had only been a split second before the hit was delivered. He had no chance to react to avoid it. That is the very definition of defenseless. He really didn't make any type of move expect to turn his head and BAM, the hit was delivered.

Say what you want about Ben but the guy is a winner. Down and out comes back and leads his team to victory with 1 1/2 arms.

Big Ben is a great QB -- there is no denying that.

He always seems to becoming a drama queen ala Favre in Favre's later years.

in that game with all the BS going on to not be called a penalty is just a joke.

If shazier cant make that tackle, then this isnt football anymore. May as well make it flag football. Now, Im not saying he did or didnt "try to spear". It was close, but I dont think you can prove that was his intention. He was a guy trying to make a tackle. --- In burflicts case, again imho, I think there was a time before contact, that he couldve avoided that hit....and his intention was to go high.

I am going to review it today, I cant discount Brown intentionally trying to draw a flag..................

The point is he launched and led with the crown and the initial contact was to the helmet. That is a spear and a penalty. There are numerous other ways for him to make that tackle that don't involve spearing a player the instant he turns to go upfield. The Bengals were called twice for it and both were arguably much less violent than shaziers hit.
