Jackson is an extremely talented player but good lord he is stupid and unreliable. He is not a player I would build around.

He's unreliable but he's too talented to just toss away. They can't move on from him until they find a better alternative or at least an equally productive alternative.

Their participation is complete. Came up,way short of even sniffing a chance to get to sb let alone winning it.

By getting to the playoffs they sniffed a chance. The Cowboys didn't sniff anything but their sofas as they sat home and watched the playoffs on TV.

The Commanders beat NOBODY good this season and only won the division because the rest of the division fell apart.

We beat them with Matt Cassel.

They beat enough teams that were on their schedule to make the playoffs and beat at least one team we lost to. Every team is given a schedule and you have to get through it. They were the only team we beat with Matt Cassel, Brandon Weeden and Kellen Moore.

That's fine, I'm just not impressed.

Once Romo is healthy next season, nobody on Earth will pick the Commanders to win the division. They'll suck just like they did today.

Romoless Cowboys allowed Commanders to default into playoffs. Not the same thing.

They were not playoff worthy. They were blown out today ... At home.

There's no getting to the playoffs by default every team has to deal with injuries. I doubt there was a team in the NFL that did as bad a job dealing with injuries like the Cowboys. Several teams had to play without their starting QB during parts of the season and still won games and a few even made the playoffs. One of the biggest beat downs we took all season was with Romo.

Hilarious. The entire DC fan base thought that was a gimme game. They haven't beat a team all season that had a winning record.

For some reason, the 'sexy' and popular pick was Commanders. So many analysts and talking heads were taking Washington. Rodgers may have been having a down year and a subpar last month for his standards but he's still light years ahead of Cousins.

NFC East/AFC South were terrible divisions and got exposed.

Hopefully Romo will stay healthy next season but don't expect everyone to be jumping on the Cowboys bandwagon after the stinker of a season they had this year.

I am hoping for a quiet, no boasting offseason from Jones and a quiet determination from this team.

Flying under the radar is far and away the best method this team has to be successful.

When we feel good about ourselves and get external validation of that, we usually fall flat on our faces.

That is a big handicap we have.

To be fair, Romo's the one who made the headline-forming grand proclamations last year.

Stay healthy and the division's ours. I expect a big bounce-back season which will validate the decision to keep Garrett. The fact that Philly and New York will have new coaching staffs in place makes me feel even better about keeping Garrett.

I guess I am having a senior moment and don't exactly recall Romo talking about a Super Bowl. Beyond the sad pathetic thing with Brady, which is another discussion.

If by "feeling better" means you think he can benefit from the handicap, I get it.

All depends on who the Giants and Eagles hire. Garrett is about Gruden's equal.

Sniff sniff...That 4th overall pick is smelling damn good! 21st, not so much.

Did you enjoy the stench we had to endure this season to earn that pick? The 32nd pick would be smelling damn good to me that's where my mindset is.

Observation from the game: Last years Cowboys team would have beat that Packer team that played today. What a terrible timing for so many injuries to happen to the Cowboys. We could have been a contender. So glad the deadskins are one and done. I like that!

However, we are not winning the SB this year, so yeah, that 4th still smells good. After enduring the "stench" of this season, hell, it smells even better!
