Jason Coles says Hardy isnt coming back because he spent too much time partying. Wonder how this affects their thinking. Sheldon Rankins would help a lot.

Probably hoping Bosa is there at 4. Then we can waste our 2nd rounder on Connor Cook.

If I ran this team my staff would walk into our war room that Thursday afternoon with a one player draft board up on the wall. We can deal with the mortals on Friday. Today is the day we draft our savior.

After years of toiling with the Romos, Bledsoes, Whites and Staubachs, we finally have the guy who will lead us to our rightful place at the top of the sports world.

It's impossible for me to tell when you're trolling.

The good news: if the Browns draft him, well he probably wasn't very good after all.

I always have good food planned for the draft. Usually centered around spam and corn. That Thursday I'll be enjoying some gingerbread cookies for dessert.

Quarterbacks

Jeff Driskel has not put together the best set of practices this week struggling with accuracy and ability to drive the ball downfield as the wind has factored into his velocity. Not running any drills involving deep throws today, the quarterbacks operated in more of a redzone setting. Driskel went through progressions and generally made the right decision but was slow to get the ball out quickly. Some of his reps would surpass four seconds mostly involving check downs.

-Carson Wentz is still viewed as the best quarterback in Mobile and continues to carry the leadership role on the North squad. Wentz’s footwork and accuracy stood out most today compared to Stanford’s Kevin Hogan and USC’s Cody Kessler.

Running Backs

Kenneth Dixon stood out more today compared to Wednesday’s practice. Dixon looked great when carrying the ball in between the tackles showing quick cuts and superb vision. Dixon continues to be a decisive runner seeing the field well and being built low to the ground he can put away would be tacklers.

-USC fullback Soma Vainuku had a rough go today not being able to withstand contact in one on one drills versus linebackers and defensive backs getting put on roller skates twice and eventually being put to the turf. Vainuku also did not catch the ball well today as I noted three drops.

Receivers/Tight Ends

Braxton Miller was showing out before he injured his leg today, nothing too serious, as he was abusing defensive backs constantly in the redzone. He showed quick bursts in and out of cuts to gain separation and even when not gaining the preferred separation he put hisphysicality to work and came away with the battle tested balls. Miller put together a nice week and now a good game Saturday would be the cherry on top.

-Cincinnati’s Chris Moore had a dropped touchdown early in practice today

Quarterbacks

-It was a ho-hum day for quarterbacks as none had an outstanding day, but looking for improvement, Jacoby Brissett stood out. Brissett’s high over the top delivery is a common issue because of overthrows but today settled down and delivered nice throws in the endzone in a window only his receiver could catch it.

-Alabama’s Jake Coker looked comfortable going through his reads, scanning the secondary for the best option. He delivered a dime to the far sideline in between tight coverage as the safety was closing in. Coker’s arm strength was not put to test today, which is his biggest attribute.

Receivers/Tight Ends

-Jay Lee’s out physical-ed every matchup he had today on a contested throw. His route running was more refined today, as he looked smooth through his cuts and breaks. Lee did his best work in the endzone high pointing the football and bullying the defensive backs, especially those with the smaller stature.

-Sterling Shepard looked better today than yesterday’s practice looking more comfortable and not as tight. Shepard displayed his elusiveness today burning a few defenders with his quick twitch playing style and underrated physicality. Shepard also worked in the return game.

Offensive/Defensive Linemen

-Noah Spence is legitimately one of the best players in this draft class. He dominatedLe’Raven Clark routinely and looked comfortable rushing off both sides of the line of scrimmage. If teams aren’t scared off by his character, he should find his name called very early in the first round of the draft.

Again, once the pick is made I'll be campaigning for the immediate removal of Romo. I see no point whatsoever in letting an inferior play just for nostalgia. Start the Wentz era.
