We should just take Lynch then. He has better measurables than anyone by far. Why is it that he's dropping so far? What exactly did he do wrong?

His biggest knocks are going to be his accuracy, clearly the worst of the top-3 and his long, over the top release. He is going to need the most work, but represents the most upside. If you truly want a kid you can groom for a couple years, he's a good candidate. He'd be my target in a trade back, if not Elliott.

You are wrong, my friend

This was covered in this thread already

Brugler confirmed 9 5/8 for Romo

I don't care what Brugler thinks he's confirmed. Those numbers are from the combine and not some internet clown on Reddit.

No, that would be incorrect sir.

If you actually go to the data at nflcombineresults.com, the data on Romo there doesn't matchup with the Dallas news story.

Click on the Class of 2003 link and then find Romo and you see Wunderlic of only 30 and they don't list a hand size for Romo. So something is fishy.

What exactly do people think the correlation between small hands and being a good QB is? Serious question.

Mike Vick had 8.5 inch hands (1 of the smallest ever) and he had/has one of the best arms and prettiest spirals in the game.

Fumbling. Especially in bad weather.

His mechanics are trash. He is super raw and needs a lot of work.

He's got something physically though for sure.

I haven't heard anything about his work ethic.

Well if the Jones are right about Romo we'll have the time (whether we have the coaches is another matter).

By many accounts Lynch is a self starter, so I don't think work ethic is an issue.

I don't think we have 4 years out of Romo at the standard of play it would take to win a championship for us. If we were another team that didn't rely so heavily on Tony, maybe. If we were a team who had shown the ability to adapt and learn lessons from our past mistakes, maybe. If Tony were not physically in the situation he is in at this stage of his career, maybe.

I don't see us as any of those things. I will be grateful if we get two really good years out of Tony. Heck, if he can just finish the season next year, that would be a major improvement.

My thoughts are that Romo might have two goods years left, so with good coaching (and you can debate whether he would get that in Dallas) two years should be enough to get Lynch where he needs to be.

There obviously will be some growing pains but that will be true of any inexperienced QB.

Then Wentz has to be 6'6.5".........Thought they measured Wentz at the Senior Bowl at 6'5"......picture has him more than 1" taller

Lol, is it weird that the girl in the middle looks a lot like Tony Romo to me?
