And let me be clear.

I am sure Tony Romo is a swell fellow.

He will pull over and help people with a flat tire, etc.

But I doubt he is so "team" that he will just sit around and devote his time to doing what a QB coach should be responsible for.

Since Dallas does not employ a real one, that is not his job to do.

Look the equation on this is not difficult. Romo is coming off too many surgeries and is simply not the same physically anymore. One big hit and he could be done for the year, if not his career. So is Goff worth 2 first round picks, seeing as we only have Moore to back Romo up? If the scouts say he can be a franchise QB, then Jerry will make that trade. We've seen what life without Romo is like, and Moore ain't gonna change that.

One wildcard is Lynch and what our scouts say about him. He could have such high grades that we simply take him at 4. The guy has a gun, unlike Moore, that is for sure.

I can't imagine pro scouts determining that Goff is better than Wentz.

I could see casual fans making that mistake but a Pro scout. Wentz will be a Ram.

Uh, these "pro scouts" took Leaf over Manning. You can get off Wentz at any time.

Edit: that's my bad, forgot Colts had the first pick.

Because the Rams are leaking info to some media outlets they want Goff and leaking to other media outlets that they want Wentz in order to keep anybody from figuring out what they are really wanting to do.

Bruglar talked about this very thing on the Draft Show yesterday..............and of course any conversation between owners will be kept super secret.

If i have learned anything this past week...never doubt anything Bruglar says.

If you really think the scouting community has a 100% consensus on the top QB or even close, then this video is for you

I think Goff is a headier QB than Lynch, while Lynch has the stronger arm. It's also been said that Goff is likely to develop quickly physically since he hasn't done so much in college. Reportedly, his coach didn't emphasize that for his QBs to any extent whatsoever. Both Goff and Lynch appear to have considerable upside, though. It all depends upon what a given team appreciates the most. Goff is much closer to being a plug and play QB than Lynch, however, which is something any team will be likely to consider. I'm sure Dallas attended his workout for a reason.

Brugler is good, but he is no more plugged in than anyone else. Good analyst.

No need to explain, he is just upset that most evaluators including Brugler have Tunsil rated as the best player in this draft.

He does not believe it even though he has not watched his tape or properly studied the player, that is where his Brugler hate is coming from in general.

I posted a Brugler tweet indicating that Tunsil was the best player in this class in his view and thus his mind can not understand the concept that other evaluators also are in agreement on the subject, for the most part, with Dane.

Rams are going to draft this kid with the 1st overall pick. Why does anyone keep suggesting we can trade up to 2 and have a chance?

This is what I don't understand, has the whole world gone insane? I thought it was blatantly obvious at this point - the Rams are in love with Goff...and they should be. He is an elite talent, make no mistake. Wentz is a throw away QB - nothing special when it comes right down to it.

I think the rams have to start their rookie QB and that Qb is going to get hit a lot in the NFC west with their suspect oline, wentz has a bigger chance of surviving than Goff who needs the NFL weight room.

Garrett and Linehan aren't much guru either

4-12 is how they roll...I laughed when I read that reference. At least these 2 QBs are rated as blue chip prospects. Those two couldn't win more than 1 game w/o Romo. Garrett should just give his salary to Romo now to make it fair.:D Romo will be the one developing these young QBs, let's be real her. I am very grateful for that opportunity (Romo coaching) until waiting until the day after he retires and we have the clapper giving him advice on execution while also giving him a scheme that offers nothing in terms of gaining any advantage against the opponent. JG = "Make it work scheme".

At the end of the day, if the Tyron Smith comparisons are accurate, Tunsil could be the best player out of this draft.

I now think the Rams are picking Goff at 1, not Wentz.

I never said Tunsil wasn't the best prospect, I said it was debateable....then you hit me with the Bruglar!! like i said a couple of days ago....I'll wait and see what happens come draft day....just for the record Bruglar has the Rams taking Wentz? correct...which i think they're taking Goff.

First, learn his name it is Brugler, not Bruglar.

Second, it is not debatable (debateable in your words) by anyone that knows how to properly evaluate draft prospects, it is nearly a full consensus that Tunsil is the best player in this particular draft class, not just Brugler.

Once you actually watch Tunsil's game tape and put the time in to study the player, we can sort out what is debatable or not on the subject.

Third, a mock draft is meaningless ultimately and we are talking about draft evaluation, not mock draft selections.
