I am in the Zeke camp. I do like Ramsey but would like Zeke more...however this has to give some people pause that don't like Ramsey at all...

===========

In this time of pre-draft smokescreens, we can be certain of this: some teams drafting early but outside of the top 2 are going to get a great value pick.

With QBs expected to come off the board 1-2 when the 2016 NFL Draft gets underway on Thursday, it's well-established that some highly rated position players will be selected later than initially thought. A poll of NFL evaluators released Tuesday by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel adds more credence to that belief.

The Journal Sentinel conducted a poll of 19 "national-oriented personnel men" this month, asking them to name the draft's best player, regardless of position. Here's how the voting went:

1. Florida State DB Jalen Ramsey (7 votes)

2. Ole Miss OT Laremy Tunsil (3.5)

3. UCLA LB Myles Jack (2.5)

T-4. Ohio State DE Joey Bosa (2)

T-4. Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith (2)

T-4. North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz (2)

So the fact that 12 of the 19 people polled didn't think Ramsey was the top player in the draft is supposed to make us feel better about the prospect of him being a Cowboy?

Zeke not even top 6.

lol
Troublemaker.

But really, the majority of prospect rankings actually don't have him top 6, so that shouldn't be all that shocking.
There are plenty that do, but not the majority.

Umm...most of the people polled by the MJS don't believe Ramsey is the best player in this draft. How exactly is that a "reach"?

FWIW Steve Dennis just said his source close to Jerry told him they think Bosa is to slow. Said Jerry wants to move back and take zeke but ramsey is the number 1 player on their draft board.

I'm all for ramsey but i think what hes trying to say is that out of 19 people, only 7 thought he was the best which isn't even 50% of the group. He got the most votes but it wasnt like a hefty amount in ramseys favor.

True but then guys like Tunsil only got 3.5 out of 19 so using the same logic in that groups eyes he was ranked lower and well below 50%.

And remind me again why San Diego is going to pass on the best player in the draft?
So they can draft an OL who should still be available around #10? Nah.....

The Charger may want to trade out if the offer is right but more than likely will take Ramsey before we can.
