Should Romo just retire?

Oh okay, so you're guaranteeing that the next "good hit" he takes will end his career??

You realize how dumb that sounds?

You don't know how he feels. You're not his doctor. Stop stating your uninformed opinions as though they're gospel.
same goes for you tough guy. especially when you call people dumb and ignorant, cause its you that comes off like that.

3 times....twice last year

incredible! and people are surprised he is called a china doll. Its not negative at all. It's realist. Its not all his fault though thats for sure (dare i say he might only be a small percentage of it if any). Partially to blame is the FO and the Refs lack of respect for Tony (and yes I know with a scrambler QB its tough to protect as a ref but there have been numerous incidents where he should have clearly gotten calls but he didnt).

Are they taking a MRI on Romo's back to check for possible damage from last nights game, or did they do it already?

Yes he'll be ready....for a series or 2. He's a sitting duck and the Giants are going after a gimpy QB with a chronic back problem. They will bring the house and probably a few late hits to take him out. I'm done seeing him laying on the carpet like a wounded deer. He's a warrior but he's not right physically.
Haven't the Cowboys with Romo beaten the Giants 5 straight time--and with Romo in worse health mostly?

Never called anyone dumb. Never called anyone ignorant. Never called anyone anything, actually.

I'm trying to reason with you bro and show you how ridiculous some of these posts are.

Our QB took an awkward hit. It happens. It doesn't prove or disprove anything. Not only that, he was ready and willing to go back in and play more.

All this really did was give people an excuse to go off, which they obviously will gladly do, as this thread proves.

So the next time he takes a "good hit" and it doesn't end his career, I suppose you'll concede how ridiculous that statement was...or no?

Romo will go as long as his body lets it. Sure, it's breaking down as we speak, but we're talking about one of the toughest guys in the NFL. Tony isn't just going to lie down and hang it up. I'd wager to say that many people wouldn't be talking about him retiring if Dak wasn't having such an amazing preseason. Last night was a fluke injury in which Tony was in an awkward position and got hit at the wrong angle. I doubt we ever see that again happen to Tony this season. He took a hit last week against Miami and was fine. If last night was the regular season, he would've been right back in there. I will admit that Romo will definitely not play another 5 years, but I won't guarantee that this season will be his last because I truly don't believe that.

One of two things is going to happen this season, either Romo leads us to a Super Bowl or he's forced to retire....

Soothsayers are a dime a dozen here at the Zone.

I love how everyone just KNOWS exactly what's going to happen.

You guys will never experience the thrill or excitement I do when watching the NFL season play out......because I literally cannot see the future.
