The only good news (and I hate saying this) I can see in this is that Dak has more time to get mentally ready to be the starter. Gets more reps in the preseason. AND the coaches have more time to cater the offense to his strengths. Sorry, I am just trying to find something positive in this whole piece of **** scenario. God, I am so damn pissed and frustrated!!
I figured Dak would see some playing time this year but I thought more of later in the season.

I think he'll try to get back as fast as he can just like last year. And then he got knocked out again 2 weeks later.

I agree. I hope he just retires. Hes getting beat to hell. I think this is the end of an era. I so badly wanted him to get a superbowl. Damn shame. Im gonna go have a good baby cry now. Feels like my dog just died.

I walk away if I'm Tony. He's got everything anyone could wish for in life. Need to preserve body for golden years, grand kids, etc.

Goodbye romo. It's time to retire. Atleast if he retires 14 million should be cleared up in cap space next year

NFL Network just said, likely out for 1st half of season, and problems could linger - could play with weekly epidural later in year......
WOW! Not good.
I thought he looked ok on sideline after, but WOW

Not willing to pull the trigger on Paxton Lynch might be Jerry's biggest mistake as GM.

So....Romo goes on IR...designated to return?
Lynch has been lightening it up in preseason like Dak has. Jones made the right call, imo.

It is just sad for some of this fanbase. The venomous kool aid Jerry and Jason have bottled and sold has so many of this fanbase drunk. Jason and his lazy approach to offense that only Romo could run was exposed last year. Yet people still found a reason to blame Weeden, Cassell etc..If the GM was a REAL GM...he would have seen right through Garrett. Heck if it was up to this regime...we would be preparing to start Kellen Moore in 2 weeks. WAKE UP PEOPLE. This organization has been run for a long time based on RELATIONSHIPS. Jerry, Jason, Jasons family, Tony and Witten are all comfortable with each other. They are all getting paid. And we are the fools. The irony? Dak MIGHT...MIGHT just rescue them and make them APPEAR to look like they know what they are doing!

What the efff are u talking about, get a grip dude.

After the NFL figures out DAK....Kellen is gonna come to rescue to save the season...Book it:D

Dak has yet to go through a progression and make a read....then make the right throw. Every throw is his first read. Teams are gonna start jumping routes...and the Ints will come in waves. :(

The only thing that Dak has going for himself...is his ability to run. I bet he's running alot now. Teams are gonna blitz the bejesus out of us now.

Plus it wouldn't shock me now...that we sit Dax vs Houston. You just don't risk him getting hurt in the season finally.

Sorry, I prefer to deal with and say things directly. You can determine what I'm implying as long as you like but it's a waste of time.

I'll entertain this for a moment though, if you don't see a difference in gloating over misfortune and gloating over good fortune well once again we arrive at idiot.

Regardless I never said it was "not fair" this isn't the schoolyard, fair? what is this nana booboo mentality you have. No, what I'm saying is it's in poor taste, and makes you and others engaging in it look petty.

Have at it though. I'm just upset that my favorite player ever may be done, and under pretty ****ty circumstances. Given the way his career has gone, the narratives about him, the joy everyone seems to get over anything bad or unfortunate happening to him, it's really disappointing that it's happened again and maybe ending on this note... with our fans celebrating nonetheless.

oh well.
Blind optimism will get you into a lot of trouble...there IS a medium.
