Seems like yesterday those pictures with Romo has Moxie or something like that was posted all over the forums in 2006. All good things comes to an end. You can tell Romo knew that this maybe it as he was standing there in the Seattle game.

Man, he's had some rough times in Seattle, makes me wonder what his career would be like had he never had to play there

I just watched the replay for the umpteenth time, I see the defender did nothing wrong. The moment he left his feet to dive tackle coincided with when Tony started his slide, there was no avoiding that collision even if the defender wanted to. It was a perfectly legal tackle. You're just butthurt, it's ok to admit it.

Enjoy your Sunday.

My take is the hit was possibly flagable, and if it was Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady almost certainly would have been flagged, but in no way unusual or malicious.

It wouldn't be worth discussion other than than the greater context that defenders are nearly never flagged for these hits as opposed to Rodgers / Brady / etc

So I haven't, and won't take 8 hours to read through every post. I looked briefly last night, and was late to hear the news on Romo. I have not seen any reports on ESPN or NFLN, or even the local news yet. I been dealing with some other issues.

So what is the exact injury and the prognosis, from the team. I seem 4-6 and 6 -10 weeks. I did make a comment saying call it 4-10 weeks. So has there been any other news or info lately?

Mike fisher is saying this morning he is told its 10 weeks for Romo.

Good night season.
Can we assume Fisher is hearing it from inside the building?

At times I question if Fisher ever talks to anyone. Maybe the liquor clerk...LOL.... At times he has decent info, other times I scratch my head...he is not the local Ed Werder, far from it, but I often times wonder if some traits are there. LOL.

Some additional details for anyone who is interested:

http://sportsday.***BANNED-URL***/d...n-fracture-closer-look-tony-romos-back-injury

It confirms a 6-10 week time period.

So, it appears he's looking at missing the first one to two months of the season.

Anyone else having trouble reading this because of their subscription requirements?

I just registered and it still wont let me read the article and now I'm tired of messing with it so I'm giving up. I have to wonder how well this strategy is going tow work for them

Much better said than my clumsy attempt.

He's never had a deep run in the playoffs. That's not right, it's not. Too many weak *** barely mediocre QBs have rode top notch defenses to the SB (I'm looking at you Eli) when a far superior QB like Tony has had to endure absolute dirge around him and messed up calls from officials (GB, it was a CATCH). If there is any justice in the world, Tony comes back and get's a chance to do something this season.
I honestly think the 2007 team had the best chance. 13 - 3. Homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. We had beaten the Giants twice that year. TO getting hurt near the end of the year. Forcing Terry Glenn back in the lineup. Replacing Julius Jones with Barber during the bye. The "Cabo trip". I guess it wasn't meant to be.

No and why would you want one anyways?

Any report on his prognosis would be dotted with sunshine and rainbows.

Just 48 hours ago, the owner stated there was no injury. Romo said he was fine. Everyone was about "dodging a bullet".

Romo has the same kind of blind optimism that the Joneses have.

You have no choice but to have "blind optimism" when you have no idea what you are doing as a GM. It was idiotic to think Romo would play 5 more years. Romo looked nothing himself with that awkward slide attempt. The gig is up. I wish him well. But Jerry, Jason and the rest of the crew can no longer hide behind the Romo magic!

Do you remember this "penalty" against London Fletcher when he blasted Tom Brady right as he was sliding?...Refs were gonna say Fletcher hit him after Brady slid but it was shown that Fletcher started his move on Brady at the same time Brady started sliding....so then the refs had a mid-field conference...and finally came back and said Fletcher hit Brady in the helmet with his forearm.
