Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory has apparently won his appeal of a 10-game suspension for an additional violation of the NFL’s substance abuse program and will only be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season.

I have no idea if he can stay off suspension in future years, but he has a chance to have an impact this year with only a 4 game suspension. Makes the DE situation less scary for sure, at least in 2016.

Obviously, rehab was a condition and he must be showing great progress. I wonder if his violations were for weed? It's not physically addictive, maybe mentally.

Sounds like the people that were saying that he was being suspended for missing a test but was in rehab were correct.

I hope they can come to a point where he can conquer his issues. If he can play this season it would be a huge boon.

He won an appeal which leads me to believe that being in rehab was the mitigating circumstance. I had heard that suspension was for not reporting for a test.
