Sam Bradford was hit on the helmet by Cowboys defensive tackle Cedric Thornton while throwing the ball away on an attempted game-tying two-point conversion, the kind of hit that often draws a roughing the passer penalty. But there was no flag.wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Bradford immediately turned to referee Tony Corrente to point out he’d been hit but said after the game that Corrente told him that Thornton only touched his shoulder pad, not his facemask. Bradford may have been upset, but by far the most upset Viking was defensive end Brian Robison, who ripped the officiating.

I notice there's no outrage that their LT had a false start on that very play which (had it been called) would have backed them up another 5 yards (to the 12) and the play where Bradford got head molested would have never happened to begin with.

Go figure.

Missed calls happen all the time. It didn't cost them anything but another chance to tie the game. No one can say they would have converted and then won in overtime. Finally, the Cowboys were on the receiving end of a missed call. They had 3 big plays wiped out by bogus or dubious penalties. They could have been up by 17-21 points and by the way, Clemings false started on that final play as well.

Chances are better that their LT timed the snap perfectly than a false start

We've seen many times where it appears on TV to be a false start...but it wasn't

He makes a very valid point. The refs were terrible on both sides of the ball. It really getting pathetic. They need full time refs and fire Blandino and get someone to simplify the rules.

Goodell sits on his ivory tower and turns his head to this crap. There is a reason why he's always booed on draft day. Fix the problem. It's killing the game.

They should file an official protest. After all, they were totally incapable of winning that game on their own; they needed the protection of the officials and did not get it. Oh the tragedy of it all.

WiFi on here sucks..but I'll believe you guys that it was a false start

Can you challenge that? Hypothetically?

Say for instance they scored but we wanted to challenge it was a false start?

They don't want it to be fixed. It's how they keep games close and get the winners they want.
