Sure. I mean, why not? The Vikings are upset because they lost. But everyone will make a huge deal about the "missed call" being a game changer because it feeds into the victim narrative, the rage of losing, and will get a ton of clicks and views. Everyone will be falling all over themselves to make as much cash off of that as possible.

Bottom line. The Vikings lost because they didn't convert.

Moving on.

Sam Bradford was hit on the helmet by Cowboys defensive tackle Cedric Thornton while throwing the ball away on an attempted game-tying two-point conversion, the kind of hit that often draws a roughing the passer penalty. But there was no flag.wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Bradford immediately turned to referee Tony Corrente to point out he’d been hit but said after the game that Corrente told him that Thornton only touched his shoulder pad, not his facemask. Bradford may have been upset, but by far the most upset Viking was defensive end Brian Robison, who ripped the officiating.

He makes a very valid point. The refs were terrible on both sides of the ball. It really getting pathetic. They need full time refs and fire Blandino and get someone to simplify the rules.

Or allow teams to challenge any call.....

Refs are and have always been hesitant to call penalties on the last play of a game. We see it all the time and in every sport. Anyone watch hockey? It's a free for all in the final few minutes of a 1 goal or tie game. The refs don't want to throw a flag on a final play that might change the outcome of the game. The ref couldn't see it from his angle. Happens all the time. Will probably happen at least twice on Sunday. Move on.

Well, we won't be seeing that officiating crew when we get to the Super Bowl. ;)

It seemed to me that the awful pass through the back of the endzone happened before Sam's helmet was touched so I wonder what he was thinking to do that? The roughing the passer call was unquestionably missed but that happens in a game where the officiating was terrible the whole game. Minnesota is wrong to cherry pick which officiating mistakes they dislike without also admitting they got most of the huge calls going their way. It finally caught up with them. Play better and then you won't be relying on a ref to win a game for you.

Chances are better that their LT timed the snap perfectly than a false start

We've seen many times where it appears on TV to be a false start...but it wasn't

Video doesn't lie he took a few steps back before the ball was even snapped.

And I'm upset with all the bad and missed calls that went against the Cowboys, including that false start on the 2 point try.

Look at the vid... He's moving just before the ball moves.

I swear I thought I read somewhere that officials are instructed to give a little leeway on that very similar to all the times they allow a play to go even though the ball was snapped just after the play clock turns to zero.

I see it a lot where the OT moves a split second before the ball is snapped and nothing is called.

Crazy game as far as calls on Dallas on big plays. That would have made for a real interesting finish. I'll gladly take the win and get out of town. It was very odd all week how there was this behind the scenes thought that Dallas would lose this game and you started to wonder if the fix was in for the first 3 quarters.
