This looks like nothing, both these. Guys like to party in college and I doubt they would stop now.

If they just went to a club and there was no incident of any kind or anything, why the hell is this even a story? lol

Should we lose the game to the Giants this weekend, or lose the 1st playoff game, watch the same crowd that dogged Romo over Cabo and golf turn this into a story.

That will never go away.

Of course the people that do this are freaking idiots. Won't change it, though.

great you don't like romo so you hold him to a higher standard. That is fine.

Of course I imagine they were drinking and probably spent a ton on dinner etc.

fumbling the go ahead field goal at seattle was all you needed to say.

Being rational and objective does not mean I don't like Romo lol.

Romo had a devastating end to the 2006 season. The media was out for him after that. He couldn't allow any room for media controversy heading into the 2007 postseason, and he did.

Even people that love Romo in the greater Fort Worth area, still remember this. Don't fool yourself.

True as just as people claiming it is no big deal about Zeke and Dak it really was no big deal what Romo did but media made an issue of it as well as many fans. Had Romo gone to Wisconsin to see family and had some drinks would that have been a big deal? After all the players were given those days off since Dallas had no way of knowing who they would face so coaches like most teams do gave players the extra time off.

To be fair, going to a local club and traveling to another country aren't exactly comparable.

Watch, idiots will make this same comparison anyway.

The same idiots who roasted Romo for a weekend in Cabo when he had an entire week off will seize on this.

There were players that went to Vegas. There were players that went to strip clubs all week long. You didn't hear anything about that. I'm still shocked by how amazingly stupid some fans of this team are.

People went gaga over the image above. People yak it up about non-relevant stuff all the time. Always has. Always will. The only question is whether what anyone talks about has relevance. The video is about as relevant as the picture above.

Dogs bark at cars. Some people will yak about the hidden world-shaking ramifications of the video. Same thing.

IMO, its not an issue in a real world scenario. I still have friends who go out all the time and they are in their early 40's. Its not hurting anyone and neither are dak and zeke.

having said that, its the week of the biggest game of the year. The season is about to begin to get hard and this is a bad look.

and I am not trying to be a jerk and bring this up, but Dak got a DUI in the spring and now here is a video of him the week of the biggest game out on the town.

again, not a crime but definitely not a good look. And from my perspective it angers me because Romo was not even allowed to laugh and have fun in press conferences because he was under attack from day 1 and he never had a DUI charge and was never in the club like this.
Tuesday is their day off so they had some fun Monday night. Didn't they visit the hospital the next day? No big deal. I wonder what the Giants were doing Monday night.

No you are just falling into this TMZ era mindset that tells you this is a big deal. Are you seriously this oblivious to the fact that athletes go out to clubs? Dirk and Steve Nash went out all the time and drank and smoked around Dallas. Did it hurt the team or their image. Absolutely not. Why? Because they did nothing illegal. They performed on the court. They are allowed to have personal lives.

Did it hurt the 90s Cowboys and all of what they did off the field? No.

Quit over exaggerating. It's only a distraction because people like you eat this up and interject with you saying it is and make this a big deal.

yawn. I said right off the bat they did nothing wrong and its just a bad visual and i am not falling into any mindset. If you play for the Dallas cowboys you are under the microscope. Every media outlet is out to get the cowboys players and have been waiting for something to exploit they now have it.

I am not eating anything up so you can stop with that and i am well aware people like to enjoy themselves and I have zero problem with that. My issue here is the visual coupled with Dak and Zeke's recent backgrounds. Its a bad look. Zeke said a few weeks ago he understands he is under the microscope and needs to be careful.

and as far as your completely ignorant comment about this stuff not hurting the 90's cowboys you couldn't be further from the truth and its a misconception everyone repeats around here. Yes they won a ton in a 5 year period but after that the partying and drug use was a major part of the downfall here, Mark Tuinei died of an overdose because the party never ended and he didn't stop. Irvin's career was never as good as it could have been because of his suspensions and off the field habits later in his career not to mention because of his negative attention the organization didn't take randy moss and ruined the last two years of the triplets playing together. So its a complete falsehood that the off the field stuff did not hurt the organization because it most certainly did.

anyway I will say it one last time its not a big deal and a normal thing for people to be out enjoying themselves but its the biggest game of the week and the media is waiting in the weeds for something to exploit so this is a bad look. Now there is something to attach to these guys right or wrong.

I agree, it's all about perspective. I don't think there's any controversy in going to Cabo on your bye week during the regular season. All I'm saying is Romo opened himself up to scrutiny with the way 2006 ended and the particular timing of his Cabo trip.

If Patrick Crayton caught that wide open 20 yarder over the middle we probably would have beat the Giants, and the media would have no room to criticize Romo.

Sorry but these are not your average 23 and 21 year olds they have to be careful. I was once 20 many moons ago and liked to party!!! They made a movie out of me you might have heard about it "Saturday Night Fever"
now if Dak and Zeke were doing this, I'd be mad.......

There will ALWAYS be idiots who go "I DON'T CARE IF IT'S THEIR DAY OFF OR THE PLAYOFF BYE WEEK OR WHATEVER. HOW IS THIS GUY NOT CHAINED TO A DESK IN THE FILM ROOM GETTIN' READY FOR THAT BIG GAME, DAMN IT!!!??"

We can't change it. All we can do is point and laugh at them.

I do notice these guys are almost always out at bars and restuarants in Uptown.
So & So's is not really some wild club. A lot of people just go there for dinner.
When I saw Zeke out a few fridays ago, he was also Uptown (at Trulucks). This time at a really nice Surf-n-Turf place that also had a good bar area.
It's not like these are strip clubs or anything.
