Romo was the clear cut starter of this team when he went down. There is no dispute over that. Dak has done very well but the second half of the year he has had several bad halves.....and then has been able to come alive late to win. He didn't ever look good in this game. He didn't look great against Minny. If he compounds that with another mediocre game, and especially a mediocre game that we lose....how can you not consider going back to Romo? He was the best QB on this team by a mile before he got injured. I don't think Dak, as a rookie, has done anything that would exclude him from having only a short leash, especially with Romo on the sidelines.

It's a tough call. Unless you win the Super Bowl with whichever guy you go with it's going to be second guessed for your entire coaching career. Safe bet is to stick with Dak, yet we all know that Jerry is a gambler at heart. What direction will he go?

Ok, let's go back to Romo, and then let's go back to Dak. Then, let's go back to Romo. Then, let's go back to Dak. I am willing to bet that is what will happen. We cannot go to Romo. If Dak is not the future (after leading the team to an 11-2 record and a playoff birth as a rookie, mind you), then draft another damn QB. But no more Romo. It's regression and just asking for all kinds of trouble. We have to think (with our brains) and not feel (with our hearts). The way Dak has been treated by some of the fans and Jerry Jones this season is absolutely shameful.

Tampa has won 5 in a row and is 5-1 on the road. Anyone underestimating them is in for a shock.
Yeah not underestimating them. Brees has been awful the past two weeks. I'm not really that worried about Tampa that much to be honest. They've improved but not really in awe or fearing them.

LOL, the way Romo has been treated is what is shameful. Dak's had it really good until maybe this week.

Name one more. And quarters don't count.
3 straight games under 200 yards passing.

You guys act like Dak is Brady and just has a bad game every now and then and the rest of the time he is putting up 40 burgers.

I hate to mention this to you guys, but we aint beating anybody in the playoffs if our QB cant even break 200 yards passing, and three times is what you call a trend, not a coincidence. If Dak cant break 200 next week against the Bucs, that is 4 consecutive games under 200 yards passing.

You cant win in this league playing like that............so turning to Romo is not a knee jerk reaction, its a serious consideration if Dak has been figured out by the league and continues to struggle week in and week out using this so called blueprint.

LMAO at some of these comments after one bad performance by Dak. Unbelievable. Just unreal how people can overreact so quickly.
I have defended Dak all game. I was talking about Linehan play calling. Maybe you should read and pay attention before writing such idiotic comments

The problem is they did step up. Zeke had over 100 yards rushing again. Sure Dez blew it at the end of the game, but I'd place a friendly wager that we could see him open quite a bit in this game as well as other receivers after film review. This is not a bash Dak post. Simply saying his play in recent weeks will not be enough to get the team where we all want them to go. There needs to be improvement at the QB position.

As to your question. Yes, I would have said you were foolish in the preseason if you said the Team would have won 11 in a row, regardless of QB.
OL didn't step up in the 2nd half, Zeke didn't step up in the 2nd half (mainly due to play calling and blocking) my point was this loss isn't all about Dak and to put it in him or say the offense stepped up is silly

Well we did win two of those games and lost the third game by 3 points. So you can win game when your QB doesn't break 200 yards passing. Manning had games of 141 and 176 yards passing in last years playoffs. You can win passing for less than 200 yards. This was his first BAD game. Those other games he wasn't sharp but he made plays to win it. So yeah this has been his first bad one. And no one is putting up 40 points all the time. And no one is comparing him to Brady except you.

Just admit you want Dak to fail. Admit you have an emotional attachment to Romo...team be damned. Admit you place Romo and your agenda above the team's success. You root for Dak to fail to advance your agenda. Am I right?

Dude, that guy didn't deserve this type of response.

Nobody is here rooting against the team or for any player to fail, but Dak is struggling. He has had 3 consecutive games where he was held under 200 yards passing. This is a legit problem when you are playing playoff caliber teams. Now if Dak continues to struggle next week, it is a legit argument to discuss putting Romo back into the lineup. After all, the reason given to stick with Dak was because he had the hot hand, but that apparently is gone now. He has been reduced to a check-down QB that doesn't go downfield, hence the low yardage totals the last three weeks.

So lets try to discuss this without calling people's fandom into question.

No, I'd say he was bad against the Vikings, and he was horrible tonight. I'd also say he was bad against Philly.
Well it's not good enough in the playoffs. We're 1 and done. This season would be a failure unless something changes. Hopefully Dak turns it around.

No he wasn't and we won. He completed 67% of his passes and didn't throw an INT. That's nowhere near horrible.
130 yards is horrible. I'm critiquing Dak not the team. In my opinion he has looked worse than weeden these last 2 weeks.
