In what world is Lance Dunbar a better option than Zeke on third downs and end of games?

I agree. Your best player is on the bench during key situations, I don't get it. Played not to lose last night, QBing was awful but wasn't helped by penalties, play calling and Zeke on the bench.

I don't understand how Zeke wasn't in a single time in that final drive. You put him in for his blocking, if anything.

4th overall pick, and the guy who has been the catalyst for the offense was off the field. Was he nicked up/hurt?

Only reason I can think he wasn't out there.
 
I have been saying all year these players have been fading the pathetic coaching staff. The coaching staff is the weakest link on this team. Zeke is an excellent blocker and also has speed to take one to the house at any time... and he is on the bench for Dunbar who hasn't done ANYTHING this year. So annoying.
 
the only reason I can think of for putting LD instead of EE is the coaching staff didn't want AM in the game because he is a liability in pass protection and felt LD was the better option at that moment.

That's all I got.

The most dynamic offensive player you have, needs to be playing when it matters most. No rb on the team is a better option. Zeke is a better runner, blocker and receiving threat than anyone else they have. It's not even close.
 
Dunbar plays in the offense in the 2 minute situation. He has since he has been back. Why do people get so angry about this.

Perhaps because he's not doing anything when he's out there?

The Cowboys invested in Zeke and he's done his part to justify it. The fascination with Lance Dunbar has never made sense to me. Lance who?

so it was fine the rest of the year and now today its a terrible plan? Dunbar has blocked well.

I personally would have kept mcfadden in this role if he was never hurt and dunbar wouldn't be on my team but mcfadden was hurt so who knows. If mcfadden is ready I would put him in this role over dunbar.

I will say Dunbar is an awful kick returner and his decision to come out of the end zone last night was absurd. Cost the team 11 yards.
