Archer: Jerry said, "you'll know it when you see it" regarding potential change to Romo

"10 years of Romo choking."

Little dramatic, don't ya think? Funny how if Dak has a bad game, "It's a team sport." Romo has a bad game? Choker.

The sad reality is that a certain group of posters would rather lose in the playoffs with Dak than go to the SB with Romo at QB.

I personally don't care if they suit up Donald Trump to play QB, if we win a SB because of it I am all for it.

I am a fan of the team first, players second. I really don't give a dam if Dak gets his panties in a bunch by getting pulled. If Dak doesn't want to get pulled, don't go 2-24 on third down.........that would be my suggestion to him.

"I really don't want to get into the scenario, it goes too far in talking about what we don't want to talk about," Jones said. "Given the need for [Romo], we want him ready on the spur of the moment to be a part of any effort we make -- to be trite -- to win the ball game.

"It would be when we all probably thought it was time for him to come in and play. I don't want to give you those circumstances because I don't like either one of the discussions."

Message sent to Dak............this aint Cleveland bro, we don't have ice cream and participation trophies waiting in the lockerroom, if you want to keep your job then you find a way to WIN THE DAM GAME...........and if you cant, we got this other dude standing next to the Gatorade bucket over there and word is, he is pretty good.

Jerry aint pissing away a SB season because his rookie has decided to hit a wall...........this aint no "training season".

So roll with a guy for 14 games but make the switch to a gimp for the final stretch? A guy who can't take a normal NFL hit, hasn't taken a regular season snap in over a year and has started just a few of the last almost 2 seasons of games? Sounds like a winning strategy.
Or I guess we can just keep playing with the guy that cant convert a 3rd down if you spotted him 9 yards.

Go with the gimp that cant take a hit or go with the rookie that turns 3rd downs into 4th downs.......interesting dilemma?

Against two top 5 defences on the road. It happens. Seattle just scored 5 a couple weeks ago. We won one and lose another by 3
You know we are not playing Cleveland in the playoffs, you do know that right?

Every team in the playoffs are going to have top flight defenses, its kinda the reason they are in the playoffs to begin with. If the rookie cant handle top flight defenses, what the hell is he going to do in the playoffs if we have to play the Legion of Boom?

Not a loser in life but a documented QB loser of important games. That's a fact, can't argue with facts.

Well your boy Dak is now 0-1 in clinching games..........we could have clinched the division, but a 3 point deficit was apparently too much to overcome.

Yea, Romo really choked in that important game............oh wait, he was on the bench.

Another lengthy, speculative thread about Romo vs Dak. My favorite part about them are the fans who are more concerned with being "right" on a message board than the success of the team.

I'm glad Romo is still there because I like depth at the most important position, but I'll also be glad when he's gone because I'm tired of the divisive BS.

That won't solve it, there'll just be something else. Looks like Dez is next up and then possibly Witten.

The fact that he mentioned the Denver game--one of the best played games by any QB in Dallas Cowboys history according to both Aikman and Staubach--vetos everything else he had to say regarding QB play for...lets say a week probation:laugh:

And the Green Bay game had zero impact on our playoff hopes. None.
The wildcard teams were 11-5 and 12-4...so no catching them
So in the 1st "elimnation game" (a Romo only category) that year in game 15 vs Washington, he led the team to a game-winning drive with a heriated disc.
The next game, they needed to beat Philly for the playoffs and lost with Orton at QB.

Obviously, after he returned from the broken collarbone last year he clearly wasnt right yet. Re-breaking the thing in same place proves that 100%.

Hes had plenty of bad games, but some of this is silly.

Yup...I actually had the "pleasure" of being at his worst game of his career: http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/20121...0ap1000000068542&tab=analyze&analyze=boxscore

Which he where he is the most valuable, on the bench. The book is far from written on our young rookie 11-2 QB.

the divisive nature will simply move on to some other topic. this just happens to be a big one.

Dak is mentally strong, if he gets benched he will be just fine. It'll motivate him to be better, work even harder, etc, the same way Romo has been on the sidelines, not sulking about his situation, giving his input where it's needed and playing his role. These guys are professionals.

He's been benched before and he didn't need time in his safe space or a therapy puppy.

I didn't know they had therapy puppies, I need one. Or a helper monkey, I wonder what Dallas Bryant is up to now?
You don't get one. You have to settle for a chick who morphs into a dude.

Good post. It would be great if the implied or direct insults about Prescott and Romo's mental stability would cease. It has and will always be a false accusation assigned to either player.
