Dez doesn't have the eye popping numbers of the other WR1 in the league for a few reasons:

1. Offense is run-oriented and heavy on Zeke getting touches (less passing=less yards)
2. He is still working out kinks with Dak at QB. Note all the other top WRs have a veteran QB with whom they have years of experience
3. He's was hurt/inactive 3 games in 2016 and 7 games in 2015 (played with an injury in a few active games too)

Dez had a bunch of frustrating drops last season but he's been great this year IMO
If you extrapolate his production over 16 games, his year looks pretty dang solid.

Dez shouldn't watch these shows. He let Skip get to him earlier this season.

Just prove em wrong when you get a ring, Dez.

He should improve his route-running, though. Has he ever been to that Randy Moss camp where Beasley trained?

Wow, This man's ego is really out of control.

I grudgingly agree here, but Bryant's injury should be acknowledged. Bryant's catch rate will be markedly lower than two years ago (low 50's vs. mid 60's). That said, what is really important is the "trend" going forward. Bryant appears to be getting away from his early injury and developing some confidence/chemistry with Prescott. But (Carter is correct) he will absolutely have to be that guy he was down the stretch in 2014 (vs. Jacksonville for example) to get this team where it wants to go. That said, Prescott should continue to get better with both anticipation and trusting what he is seeing...so far he seems to be doing just that...two games out from the Giants. You really hate to have to take him off the table until mid January, given how he has bounced back.

Well CC did go on national tv and basically made it public that Dez is telling him to watch the tape
And that he is messing with his money when he says things like that.

I hear that but tweeting about putting hands on someone does what? Just brings unnecessary attention to yourself, to the team, and also tells the world you're mentally weak and can't deal with outside criticism, irregardless of its validity.

He can watch them but he shouldn't let it affect him this much. Doug Baldwin heard what Carter said and balled out before he let loose.

Then there's this

Dez annoys me with this kind of stuff.

Dez got 5 targets and 6 touches. He turned those scant opportunities into 70 yards receiving and 3 total touchdowns. And he is playing with a rookie. Did Deandre Hopkins suddenly lose all his skills? What about Demaryius Thomas and Emmanual Sanders? Can Allen Robinson no longer catch a football?

And of course there is the mother of all examples in Randy Moss in his last season in Oakland and his first in New England.

All of those guys are negatively impacted by scheme, qb play or both. The most Targets Dez has got was 14 on Halloween. Most of those were uncatachable. Guys like Julian Edelman have eclipsed that number twice. Julian has 50 more targets this year. FIFTY.

There isn't a receiver in the league who would have big numbers this year playing in our offense especially as we kept what Dak did very limited to start the year.
This...when Prescott's finishing line is 15 of 20...it doesn't read "prolific", which is what the "other" guys have to be with unbalanced offenses. His catch rate (52.6%) is a concern though. Typically you want to be near 70% as the top guy (Antonio Brown is currently at 68.8%)...not always easy against the best cornerbacks, but you definitely don't want to be low 50s. Still not a bad season for Bryant considering his injury and loss of three games. He would probably be on par with Brown (at least on the number of touchdowns) if he had stayed healthy to this point.

In any event...the slate is about to wiped clean for all players. You can write a new story in the second season...*wink

He didn't say he would put hands on him.

He said don't talk to him or they would have problems.

According to a quick google search Dez's drop rate this season is 1.1%. Antonio Brown's is 1.3%. Jordy at 1.4%. Amari Cooper at 1.6%. Julio at 2.5% Odell at 3.7%

We've all seen how many inaccurate Throws Dez has received especially early in the season. Hard to fault him on catch rate when he's droping only 1.1% of catchable balls.

Some of their points are worth a discussion but these imbeciles are damn lucky there wasn't the same scrutiny and focus on their every stat and performance. I watched football and remember them well and I never feared either of these clowns. They were good no doubt but not one defense lost sleep facing them but they have at times feared Dez.

"When you see me, don't speak to me or we gonna have problems " usually is an indirect way of saying "I'm gonna give you the business if you talk to me" but whatever.

Regardless Dez needs to chill.

Giving them the business and laying hands on him are 2 different things.

If Dez saw him it would most likely just be Dez yelling at him and that's it.

Cris Carter was never a guy to be feared.

He was a good player but he was never some kind of beast WR or anything.

Also, he had drug problems early on... A lot of these guys are super hypocritical and he is one of them.

It's just a matter of time before he says something stupid and gets fired.

Chris Carter looks more like 'Droopy Dog' with each passing year.

That's a bit of cherry picking. Early in his career Carter had addiction issues. He went on to enjoy 10 seasons with 72+ catches. The man has got the cred to speak...5th all time in catches in the NFL.

Some of the criticisms of Dez are valid. Dez has left a lot of meat on the bone over his career because he hasn't worked hard on his craft. That's just a fact. He's not run good consistent route.

Dez has matured in a number of ways. He can do amazing things and help the Cowboys win. Let's hope that he continues to do so and grows into the player he's capable of being.
Dez even with his issues growing up wasn't a coke head, screw Carter and his I forgot what I used to be and now criticize any and everyone from my soap box.

You won't agree but if I'm drafting wr's I pick Terrell Owens over rice and my team will be better off.

Not many would agree with this. I don't. Any team would be better with Rice over Owens. Rice is the better receiver. Rice was the better player in the playoffs. And the longer Owens is on a team the more he wears out his welcome.

Cris toned down some of his rhetoric today. He said they were cool until he disagreed that Dez caught it in Green Bay.
