Twitter: Quincy Carter not a fan of Romo, but wishes him the best

Quincy Carter is an interesting person. He was a QB who actually took us to a playoff so there's that. But his mechanics were poor, he couldn't handle the racism from the fans who were just used to the White American QB, or just the pressure of being America's team. He was nothing more than any 2nd, third, 4th or whatever QB came out of the draft through out the years that were busts.

I could name a thousand QBs that were just like him through out history. No QB wants to be replaced, so you can probably understand why he doesn't like Romo, just like Romo (secretly) doesn't like Dak Prescott.

Asinine post alert.

The racist fans that wanted a QB who could pass a drug test. Curse those white devils.
I'm pretty sure that fans didn't like him before they even knew about his drug test, I remember it vividly.

I remember those days vividly too. There were a lot of reasons to be pro or con Quincy. I'm sure there were racists out there but even on anonymous Internet message boards there weren't racist posts about him.

I don't know how anyone can be hunky dory over someone taking your job. He may like Dak as a person but hates him at the QB.

Would you? If someone stole your job?
No, I wouldn't. This ia a business. Dak didn't steal Romo's job. He won it thru his stellar play and in the process became a Pro Bowler.

Everything I've read is that Romo has been totally supportive of Dak. Dak even said as much himself.

Romo probably hates that he got hurt and is no longer our starter, but I highly doubt he secretly hates Dak. He has more integrity than that. Romo is 100% class.

No harm, it is what it is. But mainly, he just don't like Romo because Romo took his job and ran with it.

I'm almost certain that Romo wanted or wants to have a QB competition to get his job back.

I'm so sure Romo's going to come out and say, F that, I hate the guy. He's not going to do that because he's a professional and he's courteous. But you can believe what you want, Dak's dissed him before in the past on twitter, then comes through and steals his job fair and square, I don't think Romo cares for Dak, which is understandable.

How is that even remotely the same as hating Dak (secretly)? That's not only different ballparks, that's different planets.

I saw a faded old Quincy jersey at a thrift store recently. On sale for $1.50.

Almost spent the money to use it as kindling.
