What happened to Jordy Nelson?

They are saying he is out of the playoffs with a lacerated spleen... this comes from a packer forum so I´m still not sure if true.

Again, if it was on a normally clean hit I'd say: "too bad, so sad...it happens". But Hall cheap shotted the crap out of him. Brutal hit that could have hurt Hall (neck or spine injury) as bad as it hurt Nelson. Unforgiveable non-call.

But I like the Dallas offense to keep the Packers offense off the field. Also the Packers paid a hefty price yesterday with injuries. Dallas got the bye, and will be rested and ready.

They were rested and ready in 2007 too. Rested and ready isn't the key to this. That's just a justification for being a coward at the end of the season. The fact that the Cowboys have essentially had 3 weeks off is not a plus. It's the opposite, in fact. The Football Gods don't reward cowards.

The Packers have their mo going. The Cowboys have to find theirs again after 3 weeks of spa treatment.

Color me shocked.

With my apologies to jimmy Johnson,
Put it in 3 inch headlines. We Will Win The Ballgame.

You heard it here first o risen one.

35-24 Dallas advances to the real shootout vs Atlanta where you will no doubt declare Ryan over the dakboys

I would take any remaining QB in the NFC over Prescott, yes.

I don't think it's a radical idea to go against the rookie.

That was a classic definition of spearing and leading with the crown of the helmet. That should have been a personal foul penalty.
That guy will get fined, I would assume.
Definitely a defenseless receiver there, and a defender using the crown of his helmet.

Horribly tough break for Green Bay and Nelson.
I never wish injury on a player, but another great break of a long list of great breaks for our Cowboys.

Nelson was maybe the hottest WR in the league coming into that game.

Hopefully, we capitalize and get over the hump to the NFC title game...and beyond!:flagwave:

Certainly not a radical idea to go against say a Conner cook making his first NFL start like ever in the playoffs.
Dak is no rookie at this point and you have pointed out more times than we can all count, he has a great O line and Zeke to help along the way

You could put Rodgers on the Browns and I'd still be worried about this game.
That was a superman performance Rodgers showed in the Giants game. DRC being out helped but that man carried the load. He is going to get his points we just need to bring our A game without any stupid penalties or turnovers. Going to be fun watching this weekend a real battle of titans.

I would rather him be RB than Michael I think. Michael looked quick!
Agree. Michael is a complete idiot but I expect to see him on that delayed draw against the 3 2 2 until we prove we can stop it.
And look for them to go hurry up from the opening gun to the finish flag to limit our substitutions

Mo on Adams should neautralize Adams, for the most part. The rest of the CBs will get over-top support from Byron. This injury is huge. Legit number one, and the reason why, imo, why Rodgers came alive.

Knock Montgomery out of the game early and GB will be reeling.
To me their early season slump was more Nelson than Rodgers. Huge loss.

Yeah, but nobody cares what you think anymore Risen. Seriously, that ship has done sailed. The USS Wentz is taking on water and has been sent to dry dock. Your only recourse is to throw all your rotten eggs in one basket and hope that Dak bails you out by having a poor game. Then you can step back, pound your bony chest and say I told you so. The problem is we still won't care anymore.
