Official Dak Prescott Thread **merged**

I love watched every game, I love the guy.'

In referring more to playoff games or games with playoff implications. I don't think I have seen better QB play tonight in that position since Aikman.
He played better against GB in 2014, in the second half his sole incompletion was the Dez "no catch". That was against a much better defense and same QB.

If we draft a quarterback in the first round, we

1) push Dak to make sure he doesn't get a big head.
2) see if a first-round talent with all these weapons can do better.
3) trade the lesser one probably for more than we spend on it in draft capital.

And if Dak is the real thing, he'll win the battle. If he's not, he won't.

And I really like Dak.
We have our QB. We need to fix this defense. Enough for the offense for now.

I'm totally in favor of Dak being the future.

But I'm also in favor of drafting a first-round quarterback to challenge him and make sure.

He's been fantastic this year, without question.

No way do you use a first round pick on a QB when you have your franchise quarterback. If you haven't noticed we have defensive needs that need to be addressed with a first round pick. If we don't fix this defense we're never going to get far in the playoffs.

Let me get this straight... We have a 4th round stud at QB on a 4th round salary, and your advice to Jerry is to draft another potential stud with his PRICE TAG, when what we really need is DEFENSE? I'm so glad you're not in the war room, our future would go down quickly.

This GB unit is basically the same unit as 14.

This GB defense has done enough to win this many straight games. They aren't good but they are good enough.

We were hoping for good enough for our defense this year.
ask a Packers fan about their defense, it's not close to the same as 2014

Dak was awesome, but welcome to Dallas Cowboy playoff football post Jimmy.

QB has to be good enough to overcome coaching and defense. Tony never was, hopefully Dak can be someday.

After watching that defense, you want a QB round 1? Seriously?

Hopefully we have Jaylon Smith. And we might be able to trade a starting lineman with draft picks for a pass rusher. Walk. Chew gum.

Don't get too committed to a quarterback until they show repeatedly that they are at the top of the game. See: Romo years.

That sounds like what we've been saying about Tony Romo forever.

With all due respect, the playoffs are a new slate. Just ask NY back in the day. Trash all year, turned it on in the playoffs en route to a Super Bowl title.

And did it vs their immortal QB.

We finally have a LEADER. Not just a QB or a decent player, a LEADER and the future is bright no question about it. I feel better about this team than I have in many years.
Idk, it didn't show up in the game when the team stumbled through the first half. Don't think he's any more of a leader than Romo.
